I tow 20' travel trailer. Subsequently I wanted mirrors that made me more confident driving around this beautiful country. The mirrors don't move or need adjusting after installation.
I think for not being permeant mounted they work great. With that being said the mounting is critical and you have to have them mounted as tight as possible to minimize the shake effect. You must adjust the strap surface contact to a sold part of the door panel. This can take several tries to get the best results. When done use a whit paint market to mark the straps at the top to know where to stop. I also don’t usually drive above 55 MPH, because I’m retired and like taking it easy. Above 60 they will shake more, my experience.
I don't think these are made for the Canyon.
I put one on and the lower support arm is too short to even get the mirror on the same plane as the OEM mirror. As I was driving down the road this morning I noticed it was cocked and was ready to fall off. Got it off the truck just in time. Lets hope this next set of mirrors I have purchased are better than these.

I am giving this product a 5 star for the quality of build and function. Using on a Cadillac SRX as no other product will work except the forward fender mount. Preferred the door mount for me. Tried others did not work at all and the ones that stick to the mirrors fall off to easy when hot out side, above 90'. Only concern for me on my rig is the hooks that go between window and weather seal. Mine are tall and have to force down for a tight fit. Also my door must have a slight curve down near outside mirror as these tow mirrors do not pull tight down at the front. Would recommend this item for simple use, able to use on other rigs or loan out to friends. Just remember to read instructions and "don't" roll down your window all the way as it will possibly push out the top hooks and out goes the mirrors, "Nuts". Remember no two models of rigs are the same and your results could be different.
I have an older Dodge Dakota with which I am pulling a new small travel trailer. Of course there are no extendable mirrors on my truck, and those ones that strap to the mirrors are not very solid. I bought these to give me more peace of mind and they work great. I have traveled 100 miles or so with them on and they stay just where they should!
These mirrors are very well made and very easy to install and adjust. I have a 35 ft trailer and now I can see down both sides with more problem.

Working great, no problems
I INSTALLED ON 2018 F 150 DROVE 640 MILES ROUND TRIP. HERE ARE MY COMPLAINTS. # 1 MIRRORS ARE TO HEAVY FOR THE ADJUSABLE ARMS ,I ADDED 2 EXTRA BOLTS ON BOTH SIDES. #2 MIRRORS ARE FLAT, I ADDED A 5 IN DIA. CONVEX TO EACH SIDE UNDER THE SQUARE FACTORY MIRRORS. #3 WEB STRAPS NEEDED TO BE RETIGHTEN MANY TIMES, THE ALSO CHAFED BOTH DOORS. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT,USE THE MONEY TOWARD TRUE OEM TOW MIRRORS.
I've been using these for about a year now towing a camper full time. I have to tighten them occasionally but otherwise they are perfect. I have had so many people say these are the best side mirrors they have ever seen and I agree.
Some things though:
*they rust. sad day. I wish I put a coating on them. next time.
*they pull at and warp your rubber seals around the windows. This means you have to move the mirrors around to different positions to prevent too much damage.
These extendable mirrors are virtually the only mirrors I could find that would actually allow me to see download size of my trailer my Jeep Gladiator pickup truck. I've got a narrow truck with an 8-foot wide trailer so I really needed about 18 in out from the side of my door for each mirror! These do the trick. They've been working great and also there is nothing available from any manufacturer that can come close to matching their performance.
These mirrors while helpful for additional side/rear vision, can not compare to OE installed mirrors. The mirrors vibrate resulting in a blurred or vibrated view. Cross winds also affect mirror vibration/ view. The installation instructions are not clear regarding top bracket installation to the door. On my 2018 Ford F 150 there a small drop to the window rubber at the window base, but this does not give a good bite for the top right angle bracket. The top bracket must go down over the window rubber side glass wiper and squeeze the rubber up against the door for proper installation allowing the angle bracket to rest on the top of the door ledge.
Easy on / Easy off. Easy to adjust. nice product. Very helpful when your pick-up truck
is not equipped w/tow mirrors, especially when you have a 28' footer behind you.

P.erfect fit, work great
The mirrors arrived earlier than I expected. They are very robust and well made. I have a small Sonoma pick up that is only 5' wide and I have to pull a trailer with a water tank that is over 7' wide to a remote area. The mirrors extend well beyond giving me the secure wide angle rear view.

Good. I only used them once to transport a water tank. They worked great and fit my truck nicely.
Mirrors work great

The mirrors work great. I thought there would be a lot of vibration in them but there is none.
eTrailer always performs.

Well 5 stars on product and ordering. Shipping 2 stars. It is NOT helpful to put shipping stickers over assembly instruction on box.

Put these on my 2004 Dodge Dakota to pull an eight-foot-wide travel trailer.
These mirrors extend the mirror to at least three times the distance of the factory mirrors and should make lane changing, etc. much safer. They attach solidly and I don't see how they will vibrate, but I have not used them yet. The straps took a little tinkering to figure out, and the instructions on the box state that they are factory set for the driver's side. Neither mirror was set this way. The ratchet is against the mirror as they came. It was changeable without tools by unspooling the strap, pressing the release while pulling the ratchet winder. Move the release to the notch on the other side and insert the ratchet wheel. Re-thread the strap and the ratchet is away from the mirror now. Etrailer is great to order from as I equip my new trailer. This order was shipped within a couple hours and arrived two days early than expected.

Work great. Visibility is much improved as is safety in being able to see following traffic. Lane changes and backing were much easier. In use there was no vibration, even with trucks passing. The lenses have remained clear. Excellent product in use.

I am using the mirrors on my 2019 F150 and they are working as expected.

They have done the job I purchased them for, however the straps damaged the clear coat on my dorrs.
Excellent quality. Work well.
Extremely pleased with not only the product, but the folks over at etrailer.com as well. Mr. George J was able to ship out my order that night (Sunday 03/03) and nailed the expected delivery date (Wednesday 03/06). These Eagle Visions are a life saver when you’re trying to tow with a rear view and hardly a driver side mirror. I’ve only got one picture installed, as they arrived in the evening. I’ll post another picture showing why I needed this product haha.
These mirrors work great as a temporary solution for towing. I don’t tow often with this truck, so I didn’t want to permanently install large mirrors. These seem sturdy, and are easy to install when I need them.
This is a good, solid set of mirrors. Very superior to those that use a rubber band to attach to the sideview mirrors! I have a 2017 Chevy Traverse with weird shaped side mirrors. These are great!

The mounting system is good. It would be better if it stuck out further.

Ok but they do vibrate a lot. And one of the tightness ratchets broke a handle. And both extention bolts shook lose almost lost the passenger side mirror.
They work well and do the job as intended. They attach easily and don't damage the doors or windows at all. I get them as tight as I possibly can, even using pliers on the wing-nuts and adjustment knobs but they still vibrate a bit, but not so much they are bothersome. These are not bolted, welded, or otherwise permanently mounted on the vehicle and can be removed in seconds. Since I only use them occasionally when towing an Airstream, these mirrors are a suitable, acceptable, and economic alternative to huge ugly OEM trailer mirrors and much better than the plastic attachments that hook onto your stock mirrors.

As a universal fit mirror, this item will fit some vehicles better than others. It might take some adjustment and trial and error before you find the correct adjustment for the mirror to fit well.
