How to Install the Wheel Masters Eagle Vision Towing Mirror on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Speaker 1: Today on the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 you're going to be taking a look at I'm going to show you how to install the Wheelmaster's Eaglevision Extendable towing mirror. Part number WM6600.This is what our towing mirror looks like then it's installed. It's going to allow us to expand our line of sight while we a towing our trailer. Here at the back of our trailer, you can see we have plenty of visibility in our factory mirror but if I step outside, you lose that visibility in factory mirror but gain it in your towing mirror. This is going to help with parking, passing, changing lanes on multiple lane highways. The mirror is going to mount directly to the door. It's going to hook into the top side of the door seam.

And also at the bottom, it's going to have a hook that is going to hook on the bottom of the door. It's going to be held in place by a seat belt type strap and it loosens and tightens into place by simply turning this knob. The buckle is going to have a nice thick pad that's going to help prevent any abrasions on our factory finish. It' not going to interfere with the movement of our factory window. Our mirror is also going to allow us to extend it out up to 17 inches. That measurement is taken from here to the center of the mirror. Now there is a couple of ways to purchase these.

If you have one already and you would like to pick on up for the other side, you can just use the same part number. However, if you don't have any and you would like to pick one for both sides, you can pick them up together using part number WM6600-2.Now that we have gone over some of the features, let me show you how to get it installed. First thing we need to do is we need to release our strap. We're going to push on this lever and pull the strap. Make sure you don't pull it out too far cause it will come off.

Second thing we are going to do it we're going to turn this lever or knob and let that arm slide all the way down. Now, we are going to take the top two hooks here and we're going to hook them right inside of our door trim on the top side of our door. Then we'll take our bottom hook. We want to hook it on the bottom side of our door. Once you have it hooked into place, we're going to tighten up our belt.

We're going to turn this wing bolt until we have it secured. Next you are going to adjust your mirror to the desired angle by simply turning this wing bolt which is going to allow you to adjust it in any direction. If you have second mirror, you are going to repeat the process on the other side. That'll do it for a look at and installation of the Wheelmasters Eaglevision Extendable Towing Mirror part number WM6600 on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
