The Longview Custom Towing Mirror Set # LVT-1700 is designed specifically for the Chevrolet vans starting from the 2003 model year up through 2016. These have a different mirror design than your 2002 so they will not work for you.
No similar custom-fit towing mirrors are offered for your 2002 but we can still help you with other options in towing mirrors.
We offer several types of universal-fit towing mirrors. These include clip-on mirrors such as # KS3891 from K-Source and # 7070 from CIPA, which are sold individually (order 2 to equip both mirrors). We also have universal door-mount mirror # 11650 that will provide a wider field of view of the trailer and road behind you. These mirrors will work on both sides of your van.
Each type of towing mirror offers certain advantages. The clip on sets are easy to adapt to since they install on the OEM mirrors - on which we are accustomed to focusing when we drive. The fender mount gives you the ability to see a wider field of view behind you but since they install forward of the standard door mirrors they require you to train yourself to look there. On some vehicles the fender well (where they mount) may be fairly far forward and not as close to the driver as some of us might prefer. The door-mount option gives you a bit of both - being farther out from the van but not too far forward.
I suggest the K-Source # KS3891 since it gives you the ability to try just one, and for a modest investment. It is the closest option to the Longview mirrors. If you like this mirror simply order a second one. If not you can try the fender-mount or door-mount if you feel a wider rearview perspective is better for towing your specific trailer.
