The front crossbar adjusts to match the length of your cargo, while integrated side rails help keep everything stable. This rack is made from durable steel that holds its shape under heavy loads. A black powder coat finish protects it from corrosion, chips, and scratches so it stays looking good even after years of hard use. Yellow-chromate-plated hardware adds another layer of corrosion resistance, making it dependable in all weather conditions.
Setting up the rack is straightforward thanks to Erickson’s patented clamp system. The bases clamp directly to the bed rails—no drilling required. Each clamp is pre-drilled if you ever decide to bolt the rack on permanently. The design fits most truck bed widths and can be installed on short-bed or long-bed configurations, so you can get it mounted and ready to haul in less time.
Tie-down cleats on each upright give you easy anchor points for ropes or straps, while the side rails add even more places to secure your load. Curved grab handles at the rear of the rack make it easier to reach up and load gear or steady yourself when climbing into the bed. A movable front crossbar in the over-cab section provides extra support for awkward or long cargo, helping balance weight and reduce shifting on the road.

Still a great product! Has held up really well. Weve taken it off and put it back on multiple times. It takes 2 people to lift it off, but is extremely easy. Definitely a great product

Great! I mostly use it for kayaks now that Ive retired. The only downside ive noticed is the noise from the turbulence when the rack isnt loaded.

Works great. The Erickson ladder rack works great for my business. The only issue was understanding how to put it together, but once that was figured out I’ve had no problems with it.

You mentioned that the paint was falling off in places. I recommend using a rust resistant paint such as Rustoleum to touch up the rack.
