Is this ladder rack capable of being mounted if I have a slider tonneau cover?

I have a great solution for you but Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # EM07707 won't work with a tonneau cover. Instead you are going to want the Adarac Pro Series Ladder Rack item # A4000963 (silver) or item # A77WG (Black) they are confirmed to fit your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed. This lightweight aluminum system has a 500 lbs capacity.

This rack uses the stake pockets for mounting and will be the widest mount with straight upright bars to give you the best access to the tonneau rail to secure your cover. The ladder rack uprights go up at a 90° angle to the bed side so you will have full function of your tonneau cover. The utility rails mount onto your truck bed rails with the included aluminum stake pocket inserts.

Your tonneau cover must allow access to the stake pockets for this system to work. If you can not access your stake pockets please email me back with the specific make and model of your cover and I will find a solution for you.

The Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # EM07707 that you referenced mounts by wrapping around the inside of the bed rails and that's how a tonneau cover installs. I am not sure which one you have but this rack is in no way compatible with any tonneau cover.
