Question:
2008 dodge ram 1500 quad cab - will the Erickson EM07705 ladder rack also allow me to load 4 foot x 8 foot plywood?
asked by: Camo
Expert Reply:
The Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07705 has load stops which can only go a maximum of 36" apart, so transporting 4' x 8' plywood would be a challenge. Instead, I recommend the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07707 which is 135" long x 54-13/16" wide when assembled. It has an 800 lb capacity and is a confirmed fit for your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6 foot bed. I've added links to review videos of this ladder rack for you to take a look at.
