Do you know of a way to enclose the rack to be able to load the bed with my home furnishings and be protected while we move to Arkansas?

There isn't a perfect waterproof way to enclose the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Steel - 800 lbs # EM07707 for your move. The best option is to use the Erickson Industrial-Grade Truck/Trailer Tarp, 14 x 14 Weave - 12' x 20' # EM57049 or Erickson Heavy-Duty Silver Tarp, 14 x 14 Weave - 16' x 20' # EM57025 and some tie down straps like # EM06702 to hold it firmly in place.

If you get creative with the positioning of the tarp you should be able to keep the vast majority of water or debris off of your possessions.
