Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this International Harvester Farmall, Aluminum Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover. International Harvester created the popular Farmall tractor brand which reduced the need for hired labor and horses. Changing the lives of many American farmers. You can reclaim that history using this iconic Farmall hitch cover, while at the same time keeping your hitch receiver free and clear of any kind of rust and dirt buildup. Frequently, when you leave your hitch receiver open, it can build up with rust and debris that will make it a little more difficult to insert your hitch accessories.
So, by having this hitch cover installed, you're going to be keeping your hitch receiver clean. This is an officially licensed hitch cover and it features the red and black International Harvester Farmall logo. The rust resistant contractor grade aluminum face with the baked in enamel finish, will not fade, chip or peel. The receiver shank pieces are constructed of aluminum. It is designed to fit the two-inch and inch and 1/4 trailer hitch receivers.
And it's gonna come with the shank pieces for both. I have the two-inch installed here on our cover. It does come with the screws needed to install the pieces, and if you have the inch and 1/4, the pieces are right here, so they will come with both. The pinhole diameter is 5/8 of an inch, and it does require a pin and clip for installation. That is not included with this cover.
So, if you do not have the compatible pin and clip that would be a separate purchase for you. However, because this is more of a premium hitch cover, I would recommend taking a look at our trailer hitch receiver lock options. For instance, etrailer has a trailer hitch receiver lock for two-inch hitches that you can find on our website using item number E98880. If you're gonna be using this on an inch and a quarter hitch receiver, we do have a lock for that as well, item number E98879. Just to give you some overall measurements, the diameter of this cover is sitting right at 4 1/2 inches and the plate itself is about 1/2 an inch thick.
