Video Transcript for Texas A and M University Chrome Logo Emblem 2" Hitch Cover: The Breakdown

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Texas A&M university 2-inch hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride. It's going to add a clean finished look to your hitch and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover is made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a nice black powder-coat finish, which is going to offer great protection from rust and corrosion. Here on the front we're going to have a chrome-plated metal emblem.

The unit's going to feature a rust proof and fade proof design and it's made in the USA. It's also going to feature a foam gasket, that's going to be this piece that goes around, the piece that goes into the hitch it goes all the way around. That's really going to help reduce rattle between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. Now, the hitch cover does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock for complete installation. The pin hole on the hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8-inch diameter pin. The hitch cover face is going to give us an overall width measurement of about 5-inches with an overall height measurement of about 3 1/2-inches. The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole, that's going to measurement about 2 1/2-inches. Again, this is designed for a 2-inch by 2-inch hitch. Very simple installation, all you got to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes and then secure it with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock.
