Today we are going to be taking a look at Michigan State University 2-inch hitch cover from AMG. The hitch cover is going to lighten to show your school pride. It's going to add a clean finished look to your hitch and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of the hitch. The hitch cover is made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder-coated finish on it, which will do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. Here at the front we're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem. It's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design.

The product is made in USA. Here on the back side it has a foam gasket, that slides over the piece and slides into the hitch. That's really going to help reduce rattling between the hitch cover and the receiver tube of the hitch. This is an officially licensed product. The hitch cover does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock to get it fully installed and secured in the hitch. Few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the overall width.

The distance we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2-1/2 inches. Now this is designed for a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Very simple installation. All you have to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up the pinholes and the secure with the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock.
