The RockyMounts BackStage fits most bikes regardless of frame design, suspension, or brake style

The RockyMounts BackStage platform-style rack lets you carry 2 bikes using your vehicle's hitch. The bike trays swing-away with bikes loaded, providing maximum access to your vehicle's cargo area. The ratcheting arms and wheel cradles secure your bikes by the wheels so there's no frame contact. Pivoting rear-wheel cradles accommodate bikes of different lengths, and they're designed to hold fat bike tires up to 5" wide. Front-mounted lever allows the rack to easily tilt down with bikes loaded and fold up when not in use. Finally, the rack includes a hitch lock and cable lock to secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle.

Swing-Away Design for Full Access to Rear Cargo Area

Swing-away design allows you to access your rear cargo area without removing bikes from the RockyMounts BackStage bike rack

The BackStage features a hinged arm that lets you swing the rack away from the rear of your vehicle with your bikes still loaded. The rack extends 67" away from the hitch, providing maximum access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. This eliminates the need to unload the bikes or remove the rack when you're loading or unloading cargo or letting your dogs hop in or out of the back.

The RockyMounts BackStage bike rack features two pull release knobs that let you fully extend the carrier

To open the hinged arm, simply turn the T-handle until it's loose, pull the spring-loaded pin, and swing the rack away from the rear of the vehicle. The arm will lock into place once it's fully extended so your hands are free to open your hatch and remove cargo.

The RockyMounts BackStage bike rack features two pull release knobs that let you fully extend the carrier

To close the rack, pull the inner spring pin and swing the bike trays back into position. The spring pin will click when the rack is fully closed. Finally, tighten the T-handle to completely secure the rack.

Front-Mounted Lever for Easy Tilting

>Fold the RockyMounts Backstage bike carrier up for additional rear cargo storage

The front-mounted easy release lever allows a single person to both tilt the rack down and fold it up with ease. The rack tilts down 30 degrees with or without bikes loaded for convenient access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. This is great for cramped parking lots where you might not have room to swing the rack out, or when you're in a hurry and don't have time to go through the process of extending and retracting the swing arm.

The T-handle on the RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier allows it to move into the closed position

The lever also lets you fold the rack up for storage when you're not transporting a bike. This is great for parking in places where space is limited such as a parking garage.

Ratcheting Wheel Hooks for Easy Bike Loading

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier has ratcheting hooks on pivoting upright arms hold bikes securely by the front wheels with no frame contact

The rack allows you to quickly and easily load and carry 2 bicycles on the back of your vehicle. The ratcheting arms securely hold your bikes by the front wheels so there's no frame contact. Simply push the button on the hook and slide it firmly into place over your front wheel. Each wheel hook is coated for grip and work with tire diameters up to 29".

Pivoting Rear Wheel Cradles with Ratcheting Wheel Straps

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features deep, pivoting wheel cradles that slide up to 3" side-to-side to optimize bike spacing

The pivoting rear-wheel cradles allow the rack to accommodate bikes with wheelbases up to 48" long. The cradles include ratcheting, rubber straps to hold your bikes' rear wheels securely in place on the tray.

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features deep wheel cradles and extra-long wheel straps accommodate fat bike tires up to 5" wide

The BackStage also comes with wheel strap extensions that attach to the standard ratcheting straps to increase the usable length and secure wider tires. This allows the cradles to hold fat bike tires up to 5" wide.

Adjustable Bike Trays

The front and back bike trays adjust 3" side to side to insure you have enough space when loading your bikes

The front and back bike trays adjust 3" side to side to ensure you have enough space when loading your bikes. Just loosen the 4 bolts where the tray attaches to the bottom of the rack, slide the trays left or right to achieve the desired spacing, and then tighten the bolts. This will prevent your bikes' handlebars from becoming tangled, and it eliminates the fear of bike-to-bike contact during transport.

Easy Installation with Threaded Hitch Pin

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carriers hitch lock deters theft

The rack installs quickly and easily with a threaded, anti-rattle hitch pin. Simply slide the shank into your 2" hitch receiver, insert the threaded hitch pin, and tighten it down with the included tool. This will reduce noise and movement while the rack is installed.

Complete Security

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features a cable lock that deters theft of the actual bike platform and also the hitch itself

The BackStage comes with a hitch lock and a cable lock to deter theft of both the rack and your bikes.

Fold the RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features a novel cable lock system

The cable lock wraps around your bikes' frames and secures to the rack with the included lock core. The cable and hitch lock are keyed alike, so you'll only need 1 key for both locks.

Video Transcript for RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack Review

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rockymounts Backstage Platform Style Two Bike Rack, Part Number RKY10002.The Rockymounts Backstage is the first of its kind swing away, platform style two bike rack. It swings away with bikes loaded for full hatch access. Like most platform style bike racks, it also tilts away with bikes loaded. Giving you another option to access your rear hatch. This is ideal for getting out smaller items, and the swing away is ideal for unloading larger items and pets. Two spring pins lock our arm in place. The blue handle secures it in the closed position.

It holds our bikes with zero frame contact. We have a ratcheting load arm that puts down pressure on the front wheel into the front wheel cradle. The back stop helps keep our front wheel in place. Here in the back, our rear wheel cradle pivots to accommodate bikes with different wheel bases, and the rear wheel strap holds it in place. It includes a cable with an integrated lock to secure our bikes to the rack. We've gone ahead and taken off the bikes so we can go over some additional features.

The cradles are designed to work with road bike tires, mountain bike tires, and fat tires up to five inches wide. Here you can see the pivoting design that will allow it to accommodate wheel bases of up to 48" wide. Our wheel hooks are coated for grip, and they're gonna work with tire diameter of up to 29".When not in use, everything folds flat. We can then fold it up for compact storage. Now this is ideal for pulling in your garage, or in a close parking spot.

With it folded up you can see that our wheel trays are adjustable from side to side with the included tool. This is for better bike spacing. It's made with an aluminum and steel construction, with a black powder coated finish so it's gonna resist rust and corrosion. It has a weight capacity of 60 pounds per bike, and it features a limited lifetime warranty.Customers on our site are comparing this to the Thule T2 Classic. They're both versatile racks and share a lot of the same features.

But the Rockymounts is gonna give you much better hatch access with the swing away feature. Now we'll give you some dimensions. From the center of the hitch pin hole, to the outer most edge when folded is 19". When tilted down, it's 34" to the end of the rack. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded up is seven inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded down is nine and a half inches. When swung out, from the center of the shank to the platform is 42". From the center of the shank to the end of the rack is 67".It secures into our receiver with an included anti-rattle bolt and lock. The nice thing about the anti-rattle bolt is it's gonna reduce all the play and rattle within our hitch and our bike rack to make a nice solid ride for our bikes. The nice thing about the lock is it's gonna prevent anyone from removing the bike rack from our hitch. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. This is gonna be for two inch by two inch receivers only. That's what we've got here. Let's go ahead and load up our shank, and line up our pin holes. Once we've got that lined up we can take our included anti-rattle bolt and thread that through. This can be threaded through on either side. Once we get it hand tightened we can take our included tool and tighten it down the rest of the way.Once we have it tightened down all the way, on the other side we can slip on our lock. We'll need to make sure it's unlocked first, slide it on, lock it up and we're all set.To load up our bikes, we'll need to lower it down to the platform position. To do that we can pull up on the blue T handle. We'll lower it down until it clicks into position. Now we can fold up our backstops, and raise out our load arms. We'll also want to be sure our rear wheel straps are undone. Now we can load up our heaviest bike first. For us it's gonna be our fat bike. We'll set the front wheel into the backstop, then rest the rear wheel into the rear wheel cradle. Next we'll raise up our load arm, and this is gonna stop right in front of our fork or brakes, whatever comes first, right around this position here. We'll lower it down, once it makes contact give it a good push and we're all set.Now it does come with rear wheel strap extensions for our fat bike. We'll simply just ratchet that in place, then we'll run it through our wheel just like normal, and into the other side. Pull it nice and tight. I've gone ahead and loaded up my mountain bike the same way. The only difference is, I did not need a rear wheel strap extension. Now the only thing left to do is to run our cable lock. One end is looped, so what we're gonna do is we'll go through our frame on both of our bikes. We'll go through the loop, then we'll connect the other end to the pin and lock here. Now it's keyed alike to our hitch lock, so we can use the same key. We'll take that off, slip that in place, put the lock back on, lock it up and we're all set. Now our bikes are locked to our bike rack. With everything all loaded up and secure, let's go ahead and take it out on our test course and see how it performs. Here on our test course, lets first go into our slalom, this is gonna show side to side action such as going around corners or evasive maneuvering. Then onto our solid speed bumps, this is gonna show an up and down action such as pulling in and out of a driveway, or out of a parking lot. Finally, onto our alternating speed bumps, this is gonna simulate going over a pot hole, or uneven pavement. That's gonna complete our look at the Rockymounts Back Stage Two Bike Rack, Part number RKY10002.

Best bike rack ever! We received our bike rack in record time, earlier than scheduled, and in time for our trip! Love the fact that not only does it hold the bike down on the wheel and not my frame, but it drops down AND swings away for full access to our 2018 Mercedes Sprinter with the barn doors. The doors can swing all the way open and hold in place as designed, so we have a complete view out the back of our van without any obstruction whatsoever. This thing is solid, and it does not budge, we know because we watched it through our camera as we drove down the road. A great investment if you have bikes you want to protect from any damage or theft, as there is also a lock and cable that goes through the bike and also locks the rack to the hitch. Fantastic customer service from etrailer as well! 512490

Thank you for your follow up. We love the RockyMounts Hitch Bike Rack and have shown it to and recommend it to many friends while traveling. We have it on our 2018 Pleasureway Plateau TS Mercedes 3500 Van base and it’s wonderful since it swings completely to the side with the bikes still on the rack, and both of our back doors swing open for emergency exit if needed. It’s well built, sturdy, easy to use, and as we travel, I look back and the bikes hardly move at all. So we are very, very happy with it. Thank you for having such a terrific product!

This rack works great for my FJ Cruiser, pretty much the only option if you still need access to the rear hatch. Also Molly at etrailier was great and really took care of me. Thanks! 477593

This is a good looking rack. Works well on the back of my 2014 CRV. I can fold back the rack with my bikes on it and there is enough room to step behind it to load groceries, bags, etc. If you need full access, you can swing the bikes away, but I don't I'll need to do that as much as I thought. It is heavy, not at all a problem in use, but will make it difficult to remove and reinstall if you don't have the arm strength. The box arrived pretty torn up, but not a scratch on anything inside. Loading bikes is a snap. Tighten the arm over the front wheel, one tire strap for the rear. The locks for the hitch pin and locking cable don't look like they'd survive a hit with a hammer, unfortunately. I had a problem with the handle bars of my wife's shorter bike hitting my seat, We were able to raise my wife's handle bars enough to clear. If not, I don't know what we would have done. (I wasn't going to lower my seat!) There's very little adjustment, a couple inches left or right, and you can't turn the handle bar in the wheel support. I'd make sure the handle bars of each bike is higher than the other bike's seat, or look elsewhere. 489118

We travel full time in our motor home, so the rack stays on the car. It still looks good, and it is very easy to load and unload the bikes.

I ordered this on May 31st and finally got it on August 11th. We have two eBikes and the load capacity and tilt and swing functions made this rack the best one for our Rav 4 with spare tire on back. RockytMounts had to go into another production cycle before I could get it. But, totally worth the wait. eTrailer honored the original price on my original order and so I saved $155 on the $540 full price. The rack construction seems very strong while I was mounting it to my Rav 4. The mounting locks did seem a bit "cheesy" though, as they are made of plastic. But, of course, one never leaves bikes for very long where "evil" lurks! I haven't yet put the bikes on the rack but, if there are problems, I will update this review. 419774

This rack has been so good for the transportation of our two eBikes. Its a heavy load but this rack handles it with ease. We live on the coast, Pacifica, where corrosion is a constant issue. This solid rack has not a bit of rust on it. So this rack is still 5 stars!!

Fairly easy install. And now that we have tested it out on a few trips we can honestly say we really like this product. The platform style keeps the bikes from touching/damaging each other. The design is solid and simple to use. Easy to load and unload. The only downside is the lock is a deterant but not bombproof so we will probably add our own locks when needed. Other then that great product, great service from etrailer as always. Highly recomend this rockymount hitch. 573004

Unfortunately, if the thief is determined enough, they will take your property regardless of the lock used. Providing a deterrent will prevent most thefts, by encouraging the thief to go after an easier target.

This rack is exactly what I needed on my pickup. I built a 6' long drawer in the bed of my Tacoma between the wheel wells and it's nearly impossible to use a normal platform style rack. I was able to use a Kuat NV but had to remove the bikes in order to open the tailgate. Even then, the tailgate rested on the rack and did not do the paint any favors. The swing style platform rack is perfect for me. I got an awesome deal when etrailer had a 30% off sale on everything from RockyMounts. It shipped very fast once the manufacturer had supplied them. etrailer was also very good at keeping in touch about the production delay. Putting it together was pretty straight forward, although I did have an issue with the blue T-handle bolt not threading properly into the rack to secure the swing arm. I was able to stop by the RockyMounts shop since it's about 10 minutes from me and they made a minor repair. This would have been a bigger issue if I did not live in Boulder, but I appreciate a company that stands behind their product like that. I also had to file down the black lock to fit onto the hitch bolt. The bolt was not quite long enough for my hitch receiver. Again, annoying but not a major issue. The one downside I would say in coming from a Kuat NV is not having a repair stand built in. 420322

Solid rack. Fits on Sprinter 3500 very well. You can open the door about 12” without moving the rack. The rack swings completely away and locks to side of Sprinter. Can open doors 90+ degrees. The trailer light plug in connection got in the way of the lock during install, so I had to take it off and then lock the rack and reinstall trailer plug in. It will make it harder to steal now. You should download instructions off site and transfer to iPad so you can expand them. That was clear and I could tell what screw or bolt went where. Instillation a little over an hour cause I didn’t know how it worked. Could do it in 20 minutes now. Best rack I’ve seen for Sprinters. 446983

Amazing customer service by the Etrailer team! There was a long back-order delay (from manufacturer) in getting this rack but Nikki kept me informed and up to date regularly, and Shannon provided a seamless checkout process once the rack arrived. 2 Days later it was on the back of my car. This rack is definitely worth the wait and I'm very happy with it. The swing away function provides easy and unobstructed access to the hatch, which makes it so much easier for my dog to jump in & out, or loading larger items when the bike is on the rack. No more squeezing between a tilted down rack and the back of the car. Very intuitive design and sturdy fitment. The bikes fit easily and quickly. The quick release handle allows you to tip it down, or fold it up to the back of the car effortlessly. 420160

I am a 65 years old and will say I was a little intimidated by the weight the box that the rack came in. It comes in parts to assemble so after opening the box I realize I could get this together. The instructions were clear but photos of the process would have been easier for me to follow. I have a truck with a tall camper shell that has a custom built insert in the bed for camping. I decided on this rack because it looked easy to load the bikes on and it will swing out of the way when I need to access the camper. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. It was not that it was a lot to assemble but the drawings took me time to understand. Got it put together and tested the movement range of the rack and it clears the back of my 2017 Tundra with 4" to spare. The bikes were easy to load and secure. I took it for a test ride and the bikes did not shift position. The rack flex slightly but overall it rode very smooth. This looks like a winner. During assembly I thought I have not gotten a couple of small screws that I needed but after opening all the nuts and bolts packages everything was there. The two photos I took may be helpful. I wish I had not been so focused and taken more while assembling the rack. 421154

Have been on several long trips on gravel roads with the rack. The rack makes it easy to load and remove the bike. The access to the back of the truck is very convenient. My road clearance is great. I have had one issue of my own creation. I misjudged the distance to my back wall in my carport and rammed the handle into the stucco wall and cracking the blue plastic handle. The wall got the worst of it. Will eventual contact Rocky Mounts and replace it. It took the hit pretty well and still works. Im not in a rush to replace. A sturdy product.

So glad I found this rack! We bought it to carry two fat tire electric bikes while still retaining access to the back of our camper. This is the *only* readily available swing-out bike carrier that is both made to accommodate fat tire bikes *and* carry the weight of electric models (up to 60# each). It's very sturdy. Pros: -Fat-tire bike ready -- it comes with extender straps and you don't have to buy any other pieces; -It swings out -- for us, it allows access to our truck camper without removing the bikes or the rack. Great for vans or hatchbacks, too -Rack also tilts down -- useful at times when you just want to grab something quickly from vehicle interior Cons -Assembly instructions were challenging. An assembly video would have made this a snap. -Most of the parts were sealed in plastic -- except for the 32 pieces that make up the wheel bolts and washers which were, inexplicably, loose in the big box. Sloppy, but at least they were all there! -The locks *feel* pretty flimsy. I would have preferred the ability to upgrade to something really stout. That said, I'm glad the cable and locks are included - even though they are only a modest deterrent. Overall, this rack is a total winner and solves the issue of transporting fat tire e-bikes while keeping access to the rear of your vehicle. Fat tire e-bikes are growing in popularity and I'm sure this rack will as well. I'd expect the big makers like Thule and Yakima to take notice. 445769

Comments

A year later, the rack has proven to be a solid choice for carrying heavy fat tire bikes and still access the rear of the vehicle. For vans or campers, this is invaluable. The one thing that would make it perfect would be a way to load bikes without having to lift them so high. This is not a rack failure per se, but having a load ramp for such a rack would make it more feasible for loading bikes that are 60 pounds.

Got the rack to fit on our Hymer Aktiv (Ram Promaster 3500) camper van. It arrived on date promised. Directions for assembling seemed a little vague but I was able to get it put together and on to our camper. Worked great and makes getting into the back of the van much easier with the swing out arm. Due to our spare tire rack on back and low level of the hitch on the back of our van, I am using a hitch extended to add 4 inches out and up. So far so good. 647328

I purchased the dual, maneuverable bike carrier to carry 2 Rad Rover Electric bicycles. Additionally, at that time I had a RoadTrek 210 Versatile. This motor home had an entrance at the rear. The rack allowed me to leave the bikes on the carrier and completely swing it out For access without taking the bikes off. This was great and really saved time over every other carrier I found. As I mentioned, the bikes are Rad Rovers and are heavy, about 60# (120+) without the batteries. I drove across country and to Key West with the bikes loaded and had no problems. The strength and integrity of the metal and welds has not been affected by the vibration and weight over the past year of use. Once I load up and hit the road I have complete confidence in the carrier integrity. The purchase process was super..delivery was quick and installation flawless. Anytime I need some help with my RV, trailer, suspension or general good things to have...I check Etrailer first, you can’t go wrong in merchandise or customer satisfaction. 637101

Just installed my Rocky mounts backstage 2 bike platform. Wanted to wait until I actually used it to write a review.... This bike rack is everything that was promised by etrailer. I really do like it! Easy to put together from the instructions, and very easy to install on my 2015 Tacoma. Fits perfectly. Its very easy to load the bikes on the rack and they are held very securely. We went on a long trip with this rack and there were no problems. I love the swing gate, which made it so easy to get luggage out of the back. The whole rack is very solid. Nice that the pin for the hitch screws down to keep the rack from any wiggle. The only suggestion is that it definately needs a stronger lock to keep secure rack and bikes. Took a little longer to ship, due to UPS losing it for a while, but aside from those minor issues, This bike rack is fantastic!! Well worth the money. 616189

We have used our bike rack several times in the past year (mainly in the summer months) and it has worked out very well. The primary purpose is to transport our bikes when we are camping with our pick up camper. It works well because we can swing it out of the way with our without the bikes to access our camper. Plus it is easy to load and unload the bikes. The only small negative is it is a little heavy for one person -- it works best if 2 people are handling it. Other than that, we love it! 612540

Great price and service from etrailer as usual. This product speaks for itself. It was the perfect solution for my four wheel camper set up. It'll only be a matter of time before the competition catches up on this design. 600455

Great rack. Has everything I was looking for. I really like how I can swing it away so the hatch of the SUV can open. I've also had this on the back of my travel trailer bouncing along with two bikes and it seems solid. I had no issues with it back there as I drove about 700 miles. It's nice that I can have it on the camper and and then when we get to a site put it on the back of the truck to go where we need. Only complaint I have would be that it is very heavy. So it can be a pain to take off and on. But it's built great and has worked well. I've had it for over a year with no issues. 599869

I have a truck camper and this bike rack was perfect application for us. We did 8400 miles last summer with two electric bikes on the rack without any issues. The rack is top quality and super functional. I purchased through etrailer a hitch extension, and torque lift steps , which work perfect together. 599855

I really like this bike rack. It was easy to assemble out of the box and didn't take too much time to put together. it's my first platform bike rack, and it is super easy to load my mountain bike on it. The ability of this rack to swing out to the right allows me access to my trunk. I have an SUV whose rear trunk door opens from left to right and most bike racks don't allow me access to my trunk because of how my door opens. The rack is very sturdy, and is easy to use. It comes with a cable lock that isn't the greatest so you will have to use an additional lock or cable for better security. If you have a rear door that opens left to right and you have a need to access your trunk, this is the right product for you. I am very happy with it. 435745

Easy to order from etrailer - delivered as promised in 3 days and box arrived in good condition considering it was very heavy - well packaged. The product was easy to assemble and all are envious of our REALLY COOL tilting and swinging bike rack. Rocky Mounts makes a very solid/well made bike rack compared with other similar products - very impressed and highly recommend both etrailer and Rocky Mounts! 431927

This is a great bike rack and seems to be made with very sturdy quality. I replaced a Thule swing away rack that was a 4 rack hanging style. It was great until you realized that all bikes would eventually rub on each other. This RockyMounts rack won't do that so I think i'm going to be very pleased. Swing away racks are perfect if you must have full access to the rear gate or hatch in your vehicles. In our case, we usually have dogs kenneled in the back for road trips so this feature has always been a must. My only minor complaint on this rack is going to be the latch that allows it to tilt. The lever to initiate the tilt is fine but the latch that holds it in position does not fit super tight. It's solid and not going anywhere don't get me wrong but there is extra play in there and this alone will cause much of any movement of the rack while driving down the road. But this is a me being nitpicky as it seems like a simple design problem to solve. The small amount of movement isn't going to cause any problems with using this rack. As for etrailer.com, this is the 4th big purchase (second bike rack and two hitches) I've made from them and they are great! Fast free delivery. Their website is full of information and helpful videos. You can't go wrong here. 423602

Do you have a question about this Hitch Bike Rack?

  • Recommended Bike Rack to Make Loading and Unloading Bikes and Rack Easier on a 2017 Subaru Forester
  • The RockyMounts BackStage # RKY10002 is a great rack that sounds like it would well for you. Except that it is a pretty heavy rack at around 70 pounds. Unfortunately, swinging racks are generally heavier, as our platform racks. When you combine it into a swinging platform rack it's likely going to be pretty heavy. Taking the weight of the bike carrier into consideration I have a few other options you may like. The Yakima FullSwing # Y02465 is also a swinging rack however it's a...

  • Recommended Bike Rack With Tilt or Swing for Truck Bed Camper Rear Door Access
  • For your 2014 GMC Sierra with in-bed camper, I recommend the Curt Extender for 2" Receivers -18" Long # C45796. This will get your trailer hitch out far enough so you can add your bike rack. Using an adapter like this will reduce your trailer hitch receiver's tongue weight rating by 50% which should leave you in fine condition for a 2 bike rack. For your 2 bike rack, I recommend the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" - Tilting - Swinging # RKY10002. This rack will securely...

  • Best Trailer Hitch for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
  • The best trailer hitch for your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76104 because it has a higher weight rating than the other trailer hitches available (indicating a stronger construction), has a longer receiver to help accessories clear your spare tire, and features safety chain loops that remain under your rear bumper for a clean look after the installation. I have attached pictures and an installation video for you to reference. For...

When we installed the hitch on a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited with stock tires it measured 5-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of the spare tire. The tailgate is hinged at the bottom and the bike rack would be closest to the truck near the bottom when tilted. So instead I recommend the version of this rack that has the swing out function to give you complete access with bikes loaded. So if you have a 2" receiver just measure 10-1/2" from the bottom of your receiver opening but if you have a 1-1/4" receiver you will need to subtract about 3/4" which means you will measure 9-3/4" from the bottom of your...

  • Fitting an RV With a Trailer Hitch Mounted Bike Rack
