The RockyMounts BackStage fits most bikes regardless of frame design, suspension, or brake style

The RockyMounts BackStage platform-style rack lets you carry 2 bikes using your vehicle's hitch. The bike trays swing-away with bikes loaded, providing maximum access to your vehicle's cargo area. The ratcheting arms and wheel cradles secure your bikes by the wheels so there's no frame contact. Pivoting rear-wheel cradles accommodate bikes of different lengths, and they're designed to hold fat bike tires up to 5" wide. Front-mounted lever allows the rack to easily tilt down with bikes loaded and fold up when not in use. Finally, the rack includes a hitch lock and cable lock to secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle.

Swing-Away Design for Full Access to Rear Cargo Area

Swing-away design allows you to access your rear cargo area without removing bikes from the RockyMounts BackStage bike rack

The BackStage features a hinged arm that lets you swing the rack away from the rear of your vehicle with your bikes still loaded. The rack extends 67" away from the hitch, providing maximum access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. This eliminates the need to unload the bikes or remove the rack when you're loading or unloading cargo or letting your dogs hop in or out of the back.

The RockyMounts BackStage bike rack features two pull release knobs that let you fully extend the carrier

To open the hinged arm, simply turn the T-handle until it's loose, pull the spring-loaded pin, and swing the rack away from the rear of the vehicle. The arm will lock into place once it's fully extended so your hands are free to open your hatch and remove cargo.

The RockyMounts BackStage bike rack features two pull release knobs that let you fully extend the carrier

To close the rack, pull the inner spring pin and swing the bike trays back into position. The spring pin will click when the rack is fully closed. Finally, tighten the T-handle to completely secure the rack.

Front-Mounted Lever for Easy Tilting

>Fold the RockyMounts Backstage bike carrier up for additional rear cargo storage

The front-mounted easy release lever allows a single person to both tilt the rack down and fold it up with ease. The rack tilts down 30 degrees with or without bikes loaded for convenient access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. This is great for cramped parking lots where you might not have room to swing the rack out, or when you're in a hurry and don't have time to go through the process of extending and retracting the swing arm.

The T-handle on the RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier allows it to move into the closed position

The lever also lets you fold the rack up for storage when you're not transporting a bike. This is great for parking in places where space is limited such as a parking garage.

Ratcheting Wheel Hooks for Easy Bike Loading

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier has ratcheting hooks on pivoting upright arms hold bikes securely by the front wheels with no frame contact

The rack allows you to quickly and easily load and carry 2 bicycles on the back of your vehicle. The ratcheting arms securely hold your bikes by the front wheels so there's no frame contact. Simply push the button on the hook and slide it firmly into place over your front wheel. Each wheel hook is coated for grip and work with tire diameters up to 29".

Pivoting Rear Wheel Cradles with Ratcheting Wheel Straps

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features deep, pivoting wheel cradles that slide up to 3" side-to-side to optimize bike spacing

The pivoting rear-wheel cradles allow the rack to accommodate bikes with wheelbases up to 48" long. The cradles include ratcheting, rubber straps to hold your bikes' rear wheels securely in place on the tray.

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features deep wheel cradles and extra-long wheel straps accommodate fat bike tires up to 5" wide

The BackStage also comes with wheel strap extensions that attach to the standard ratcheting straps to increase the usable length and secure wider tires. This allows the cradles to hold fat bike tires up to 5" wide.

Adjustable Bike Trays

The front and back bike trays adjust 3" side to side to insure you have enough space when loading your bikes

The front and back bike trays adjust 3" side to side to ensure you have enough space when loading your bikes. Just loosen the 4 bolts where the tray attaches to the bottom of the rack, slide the trays left or right to achieve the desired spacing, and then tighten the bolts. This will prevent your bikes' handlebars from becoming tangled, and it eliminates the fear of bike-to-bike contact during transport.

Easy Installation with Threaded Hitch Pin

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carriers hitch lock deters theft

The rack installs quickly and easily with a threaded, anti-rattle hitch pin. Simply slide the shank into your 2" hitch receiver, insert the threaded hitch pin, and tighten it down with the included tool. This will reduce noise and movement while the rack is installed.

Complete Security

The RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features a cable lock that deters theft of the actual bike platform and also the hitch itself

The BackStage comes with a hitch lock and a cable lock to deter theft of both the rack and your bikes.

Fold the RockyMounts BackStage bike carrier features a novel cable lock system

The cable lock wraps around your bikes' frames and secures to the rack with the included lock core. The cable and hitch lock are keyed alike, so you'll only need 1 key for both locks.

Video Transcript for RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack. This is going to be part number RKY10002.This is a pretty unique bike rack because it has a couple interesting features to it. Much like the other platform style racks out there, this can tilt away from the vehicle with both bikes attached. To do that, they have this handle up at the front here, it's colored blue, you pull that towards you and let the bike rack tilt down like so. And unfortunately, with the wrangler since the door opens out like so, we are going to make contact if we try to do that. But another thing that makes this unique is, that it has the ability to swing out from the vehicle as well with both bikes attached for situations like this. To do that you come to the blue handle here at the base, you turn it to the left to loosen it up.

You want to loosen this up all the way. Then you come to the inside here where there's a blue handle, you're going to pull that up as well and that'll release it and you bring it out until it's about 90 degrees or so, and you bring this in until you hear it click and then you can open it up the rest of the way.Now it's completely out of the way, so we can get to our rear hatch, or door. And even with it fully open, it's not going to make contact with the bike at all. You see there's plenty of space here. And to put it back into place, you just reverse that process. You come to the center here, we're going to see this blue tab, lift up on that, that'll release it.

Bring it back to 90 degrees, pull up on that tab, then just push it in the rest of the way. Come back to this handle here, and tighten it up.All right. Now some of the other features about this bike rack is one, it does come with this bike lock cable here that wraps around the existing frame of your bike, or if you have both bikes it'll wrap around both frames, and come back to this point here where it locks into place. This lock here is keyed alike with the hitch lock, which we'll get to in a minute.Let's go ahead and remove that. And it does come with a set of two keys as well. Now the bike is held into place, we're going to have two points of contact.

We're going to have the rear wheel strap here, and this cradle does move back and forth as needed to accommodate bikes of different sizes. It also comes with an additional strap for when you want to use a fat bike, and this can accommodate fat bikes up to 5 inches wide.Right now we have the road bike installment, but this will also work with mountain bikes, alternate frame bikes, and kids bikes. A lot of that, thanks to the wheel mount up at the front here. That eliminates the need for any bike adaptor bars, especially for your kids bikes or your alternate frame bikes. So let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. We'll start with the rear wheel strap, where it has this blue tab here you push that in, that'll release it.

Then come up to the front here, we have this blue trigger at the wheel hook, push that in, and away, and we'll lift the bike up and off. When everything's finished, it folds up nice and neat like so. With it in this position, I'd like to give you a couple quick measurements. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outer most point, we've added about 37 inches to the rear of the vehicle. Our ground clearance is going to be about 26 inches. And the closest point would be our tire here, it's going to be about 6 inches to this edge and about 5 inches to this edge. Now with it folded flat we can also push this up against the vehicle for close quarters situations such as parking. Again we come to this handle here, pull out and instead push up until you hear that click. Again measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outer most point, now we've only added about 22 inches to the rear of the vehicle, and our ground clearance is about 17.Now even with it folded up, it will not make contact with our tire here and a lot of that's due to the hitch that's actually installed on the vehicle, and that's going to be the drop type hitch, which sticks out a little bit further than most to give you that extra clearance. How this is attached to the hitch, we're going to have an anti-rattle bolt, which once tightened down will take off the shake and play in the shank. And again, we have this lock, which is keyed alike, with our cable lock mount as well. This does only work with 2 inch hitches, and there you have it for the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

1- Product came very fast (under 5 days) 2 - Product is exactly as described 3 - Purchasing process was very easy 4 - Product was $100+ cheaper compared to the same product on Rockymounts actual site 5 - Packaging was safe/effective and allowed for no scratching during transport 6 - Great product and would 100% buy from etrailer again The only complaint would be the directions...I saw one user compare them to Ikea directions and that is very accurate; pictures/steps were very poor. I would suggest etrailer do a video fully putting together the rack. They have several videos showing the install process, but that is the easy part. 744588

This is an extremely sturdy bike rack that swings out of the way when the back doors on the van are opened. We travel often in the warmer season, this rack enables us to take our bikes everywhere we go. 746451

I’ve used this rack with countless bikes on my Subaru and Mazda B-Series. Road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes of all shapes and wheel sizes. All have been securely mounted and I wouldn’t hesitate to put any bike back there. The swing away feature is priceless, however I wish it was more of a latch than a bolt type. The handle has been busted off a few times either by scraping a curb or by being bumped in a parking lot. The rack comes with an extra, but it’s kinda vulnerable. 745375

We were looking for a platform swing away bike rack. I was a little worried it would be heavy to get on the Edge. Not a problem! You have to expect some weight to be a good sturdy rack. Instructions are very good! ???????? 737613

I really like this bike rack. It was easy to assemble out of the box and didn't take too much time to put together. it's my first platform bike rack, and it is super easy to load my mountain bike on it. The ability of this rack to swing out to the right allows me access to my trunk. I have an SUV whose rear trunk door opens from left to right and most bike racks don't allow me access to my trunk because of how my door opens. The rack is very sturdy, and is easy to use. It comes with a cable lock that isn't the greatest so you will have to use an additional lock or cable for better security. If you have a rear door that opens left to right and you have a need to access your trunk, this is the right product for you. I am very happy with it. 435745

I am a 65 years old and will say I was a little intimidated by the weight the box that the rack came in. It comes in parts to assemble so after opening the box I realize I could get this together. The instructions were clear but photos of the process would have been easier for me to follow. I have a truck with a tall camper shell that has a custom built insert in the bed for camping. I decided on this rack because it looked easy to load the bikes on and it will swing out of the way when I need to access the camper. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. It was not that it was a lot to assemble but the drawings took me time to understand. Got it put together and tested the movement range of the rack and it clears the back of my 2017 Tundra with 4" to spare. The bikes were easy to load and secure. I took it for a test ride and the bikes did not shift position. The rack flex slightly but overall it rode very smooth. This looks like a winner. During assembly I thought I have not gotten a couple of small screws that I needed but after opening all the nuts and bolts packages everything was there. The two photos I took may be helpful. I wish I had not been so focused and taken more while assembling the rack. 421154

Have been on several long trips on gravel roads with the rack. The rack makes it easy to load and remove the bike. The access to the back of the truck is very convenient. My road clearance is great. I have had one issue of my own creation. I misjudged the distance to my back wall in my carport and rammed the handle into the stucco wall and cracking the blue plastic handle. The wall got the worst of it. Will eventual contact Rocky Mounts and replace it. It took the hit pretty well and still works. Im not in a rush to replace. A sturdy product.

Got the rack to fit on our Hymer Aktiv (Ram Promaster 3500) camper van. It arrived on date promised. Directions for assembling seemed a little vague but I was able to get it put together and on to our camper. Worked great and makes getting into the back of the van much easier with the swing out arm. Due to our spare tire rack on back and low level of the hitch on the back of our van, I am using a hitch extended to add 4 inches out and up. So far so good. 647328

Best bike rack ever! We received our bike rack in record time, earlier than scheduled, and in time for our trip! Love the fact that not only does it hold the bike down on the wheel and not my frame, but it drops down AND swings away for full access to our 2018 Mercedes Sprinter with the barn doors. The doors can swing all the way open and hold in place as designed, so we have a complete view out the back of our van without any obstruction whatsoever. This thing is solid, and it does not budge, we know because we watched it through our camera as we drove down the road. A great investment if you have bikes you want to protect from any damage or theft, as there is also a lock and cable that goes through the bike and also locks the rack to the hitch. Fantastic customer service from etrailer as well! 512490

Thank you for your follow up. We love the RockyMounts Hitch Bike Rack and have shown it to and recommend it to many friends while traveling. We have it on our 2018 Pleasureway Plateau TS Mercedes 3500 Van base and it’s wonderful since it swings completely to the side with the bikes still on the rack, and both of our back doors swing open for emergency exit if needed. It’s well built, sturdy, easy to use, and as we travel, I look back and the bikes hardly move at all. So we are very, very happy with it. Thank you for having such a terrific product!

This is a good looking rack. Works well on the back of my 2014 CRV. I can fold back the rack with my bikes on it and there is enough room to step behind it to load groceries, bags, etc. If you need full access, you can swing the bikes away, but I don't I'll need to do that as much as I thought. It is heavy, not at all a problem in use, but will make it difficult to remove and reinstall if you don't have the arm strength. The box arrived pretty torn up, but not a scratch on anything inside. Loading bikes is a snap. Tighten the arm over the front wheel, one tire strap for the rear. The locks for the hitch pin and locking cable don't look like they'd survive a hit with a hammer, unfortunately. I had a problem with the handle bars of my wife's shorter bike hitting my seat, We were able to raise my wife's handle bars enough to clear. If not, I don't know what we would have done. (I wasn't going to lower my seat!) There's very little adjustment, a couple inches left or right, and you can't turn the handle bar in the wheel support. I'd make sure the handle bars of each bike is higher than the other bike's seat, or look elsewhere. 489118

We travel full time in our motor home, so the rack stays on the car. It still looks good, and it is very easy to load and unload the bikes.

I ordered this on May 31st and finally got it on August 11th. We have two eBikes and the load capacity and tilt and swing functions made this rack the best one for our Rav 4 with spare tire on back. RockytMounts had to go into another production cycle before I could get it. But, totally worth the wait. eTrailer honored the original price on my original order and so I saved $155 on the $540 full price. The rack construction seems very strong while I was mounting it to my Rav 4. The mounting locks did seem a bit "cheesy" though, as they are made of plastic. But, of course, one never leaves bikes for very long where "evil" lurks! I haven't yet put the bikes on the rack but, if there are problems, I will update this review. 419774

This rack has been so good for the transportation of our two eBikes. Its a heavy load but this rack handles it with ease. We live on the coast, Pacifica, where corrosion is a constant issue. This solid rack has not a bit of rust on it. So this rack is still 5 stars!!

Just installed my Rocky mounts backstage 2 bike platform. Wanted to wait until I actually used it to write a review.... This bike rack is everything that was promised by etrailer. I really do like it! Easy to put together from the instructions, and very easy to install on my 2015 Tacoma. Fits perfectly. Its very easy to load the bikes on the rack and they are held very securely. We went on a long trip with this rack and there were no problems. I love the swing gate, which made it so easy to get luggage out of the back. The whole rack is very solid. Nice that the pin for the hitch screws down to keep the rack from any wiggle. The only suggestion is that it definately needs a stronger lock to keep secure rack and bikes. Took a little longer to ship, due to UPS losing it for a while, but aside from those minor issues, This bike rack is fantastic!! Well worth the money. 616189

Amazing customer service by the Etrailer team! There was a long back-order delay (from manufacturer) in getting this rack but Nikki kept me informed and up to date regularly, and Shannon provided a seamless checkout process once the rack arrived. 2 Days later it was on the back of my car. This rack is definitely worth the wait and I'm very happy with it. The swing away function provides easy and unobstructed access to the hatch, which makes it so much easier for my dog to jump in & out, or loading larger items when the bike is on the rack. No more squeezing between a tilted down rack and the back of the car. Very intuitive design and sturdy fitment. The bikes fit easily and quickly. The quick release handle allows you to tip it down, or fold it up to the back of the car effortlessly. 420160

This thing is rock solid. I recently took it on a trip and the bikes basically did not move at all. Love it. I do wish it was not as heavy and did not obstruct my rear view camera - but heh, you can't have everything! 770997

I just got my Rocky Mounts bike rack today, so I can't review that, but.... I ordered it on Tuesday at approx. 4:30 p.m. and it was delivered before lunch on Thursday. It shipped immediately. I live in a rural area, so getting it that fast was impressive! Assembly went well, maybe an hour. We mounted on the back of our Roadtrek campervan using the 8" extender. Update! We took a two week to Florida in Feb. and could not be happier with the bike rack!! Easy to setup and maneuver, sturdy, solid, perfect! No complaints! Hope to use it for years. 762436

Terrific bike rack for trucks/SUVs cars with tailgates and any hatchback. The unit swings completely out of the way with just a couple of 'lever flips'. It also can tilt away from back ofyour vehicle if you just need to access in the back. Again, just one lever pull and it tilts away! Easy assembly and install, I was able to do it on my own. The rack also removes easily from the hitch when you don't need it. These features will be great for road trips, camping ( camp in back of truck so this is perfect) and just hitting the local trails. It is quite flush to back of vehicle so no worries on backing it into things. Another positive feature was the locking cable, and hitch lock! Thumbs up all the way around! 745221

ordered this off etrailer and it arrived within 3 business days, which was impressive considering we live in fairly rural MT. Immediately took it on a weeklong 1000+ mile road trip where we camped out of the back of out 2002 Toyota Tundra. It was so nice not having to take the bikes off the back to climb in and out and cook on the tailgate. Was additionally nice that they remained safely locked while we were sleeping. The tilt feature made it easy to open our topper and quickly grab things out of the back without having to open the bike rack and swing it all the way out. Additionally, we were able to drop the tailgate all the way down with the bikes on the rack just using the tilt feature. Liked that the whole assembly was one unit (no adapter for the swing away) that had both the tilt and swing away options. Drove down plenty of dirt roads and interstates, and the rack seemed stable through it all. Would definitely reccomend this product. Side note: if you have a newer pickup with a taller tailgate I'm not sure if the tailgate would be able to drop all the way with the rack just tilted and not swung away. However, the swing function was so easy to use, I would still recommend! 703479

After one year, this bike rack was worth the money. It's sturdy, easy to take on and off, and the bikes sit solidly on it when traveling. Very easy to lay down when you need to get in the back of the car. As an added bonus, you can lay the rack down and use it to haul trash up to the top of the driveway on garbage day! Would recommend. 676637

I have included a short video demonstration on this carrier that you can check out as well.

  • Recommended Bike Rack with Swing Away Feature for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
I do have an option for you but I am not aware of any bike rack that will fold down far enough in order for you to swing open the rear hatch on your 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Instead, you will want to look into a bike rack with a swing away feature. The swing away feature will allow you to open the rear hatch on your Jeep without having to remove the bike rack or bikes. For this, I recommend the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack part # RKY10002 which is currently the only...

  • Recommended Bike Rack for 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser that Allows Cargo Area Access
The first thing you will need to do is click the provided link that will show you how to measure to determine how much clearance you have between the hitch pin hole in your receiver and the furthest rearward part of the vehicle, whether it be the back bumper or the rear of the spare tire (if your Land Cruiser is equipped with the rear mounted spare). You will then need to choose a bike rack whose shank is longer than that measurement. We have several swinging bike racks to choose from,....

  • Swing-Away Wheel Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for 4 Bikes
I do have a solution for you to have a 4-bike swing-away bike rack but unfortunately the RockyMounts BackStage # RKY10002 does not have an add-on. Instead you can use the RockyMounts SplitRail # RKY11404-4 with the Yakima BackSwing # Y02483. The SplitRail weighs 76 lbs and can hold up to 4 bikes that weigh a max of 40 lbs. It does have removable trays which when 2 of them are removed the weight capacity is increased to 60 lbs per bike. The BackSwing has a weight capacity of 250 lbs...

  • Opening the Rear Doors on a Ram ProMaster With a RockyMounts BackStage Hitch Bike Rack Installed
The RockyMounts BackStage, part # RKY10002 swings open to be 49 inches from the shank to the closest part of the rack. This should allow the doors of your ProMaster Van to open, but not to the full distance they normally do. 2017 Ram ProMaster doors swing open to 260-degrees, and you won't be able to get to that full distance with the RockyMounts swung out. You'll probably get closer to 90 to 120-degrees open, which is still plenty to load and unload cargo.

  • Recommended Bike Rack to Make Loading and Unloading Bikes and Rack Easier on a 2017 Subaru Forester
The RockyMounts BackStage # RKY10002 is a great rack that sounds like it would well for you. Except that it is a pretty heavy rack at around 70 pounds. Unfortunately, swinging racks are generally heavier, as our platform racks. When you combine it into a swinging platform rack it's likely going to be pretty heavy. Taking the weight of the bike carrier into consideration I have a few other options you may like. The Yakima FullSwing # Y02465 is also a swinging rack however it's a...

  • Bike Racks For a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica That Doesnt Impact Lift Gate Hatch Use
For a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, you can choose between a hitch mounted rack and a trunk mounted rack. The biggest reason for one over the other would be what kind of bikes you have. If you have a lot of standard framed bikes and don't mind giving up the use of the rear hatch, or you have a Hybrid model, a trunk mounted carrier like the Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack, part # Y02633 is a good pick. This is a fully featured rack that includes an integrated bike lock and a security strap for...

The RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack # RKY10002 fits the exact description of what you are looking for in a bike rack to carry 2 bikes on your 2001 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It has the ability to tilt, swing-away, can fold up, and comes with hitch and bike locks to deter theft of your equipment. Since trailer hitch receiver locations and spare tire width can vary you will want to measure from the center of your hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of your spare tire. If that measurement...

  • Bike Rack That Allows Rear Door to Open with E-Bikes Loaded on Jeep Wrangler
I have the perfect solution for you with the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack # RKY10002. The BackStage rack not only tilts down but it also swings away from the hitch. We tested this awesome rack on a similar 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a stock spare tire and we found that the rear door was able to fully swing open, even leaving some space between the tire and the closest mounted rack. I've included a link to the complete review video for you at the bottom of the page. The...

  • Platform Bike Rarck Recommendation for Rear of Winnebago View 24G
We have a few bike racks that are rated for use behind a motorhome like your Winnebago View 24G but the RockyMounts you mentioned is not one of them. Instead we have the Swagman Dispatch part # S64684 which is similar and is rated for RV use so it would be your best option. I attached a review video as well. This mounts in a hitch at the rear of the vehicle though so it should not interfere with a slide out.

  • Recommended Hitch Mount Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes
My favorite bike rack to recommend for electric bikes is the RockyMounts Backstage, part # RKY10002. It carries 2 bikes up to 60 pounds each so it'll handle yours just fine. The thing I like about it most is that it swings completely away from the vehicle, with the bikes loaded, to access to rear. Take a look at the video I attached. The only downside is the BackStage is heavy, weighing in over 70 pounds. Another option I like is the Yakima HoldUp, part # Y02443. The HoldUp only...

The top of the swing-away mechanism is 3.5 inches above the receiver shank, and the top rail of the bike rack sits 9.5 inches above the receiver shank. You can check your clearance by measuring from the top of the trailer hitch receiver on your Sprinter to the bottom of the doors. If...

  • Using a Thule EasyFold Bike Rack on Back of a Trailer
I have a recommendation for you, however Thule does not recommend the use of any of their racks behind a trailer. Trailers put additional stress on racks because of the distance that the trailer hitch receiver is from the axle, resulting in a bigger bounce when you hit a bump in the road. There is also more rattle and shake that occurs as the camper rides, causing a greater chance that the rack could fail. Thule does make sturdy products, but they maintain their current stance of...

  • Using the Kuat Pivot for Electric Bikes on a 2018 Ram 3500 With Pleasure-Way Conversion Kit
Generally, we don't recommend using wheel-mount carriers like the RockyMounts Backstage, part # RKY10002 with bikes that have fenders, as it can bend and damage the fender. Instead, I'd recommend a frame mount like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 For Electric Bikes, part # HR1450Z-E. This carrier can be used with an extender like the Kuat Pivot, part # PVP20B to create the swing-away rack you're looking for on your vehicle. The best bike rack we have for your 2018 Porsche Macan with cargo access in mind is hands down the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack part # RKY10002. The reason for this is because it has a swinging mechanism that will allow you to swing the bike rack out with the bikes attaches so you can get to any of the items in your cargo area.
