Question:

My 2017 can tow conventionally 18,000 LBS . Anderson web site says 30,000 LBS, yours 10,000. What do I need??? thank you.

From my research I found your F-350 can tow between 12,500 to 21,000-lbs depending on how your truck is set up. Regardless of any of the hitches or accessories you put on you will want to make sure you do not exceed the capacity of your truck.

The towing capacity for your F-350 should be able to be found in your owner's manual. If you are not able to find it there you can check with your dealership and they will be able to tell you what your towing capacity is.

If ever in doubt I always go with the item that has more capacity like the Andersen Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set, part # AM3492. As you said, the capacity for these are 30,000-lbs and will work with 2-inch, oversize 2-inch, and 2-1/2 inch trailer hitches. These are keyed alike and come with 2 keys.
