Question:
I have purchased and received the x7203 trailer hitch for my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek from eTrailer and I see that the distance from the pin hole to the back of the receiver cannot be more than 2 3/8. What ball receivers do you have in stock that meet this criteria? See page 9 from the installation instructions for the eco hitch x7203.

You are absolutely right about the maximum 2-3/8" length required for a ball mount used with the EcoHitch # 306-X7203 on your Subaru Crosstrek. For a great ball mount option for you that gives you the required length, the best option is the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit - 2 Zinc Balls # AM3411. This mount comes with 1-7/8" and 2" balls. The reason why this is a great choice is because it comes with a first hole that is very close to the end of the receiver. From the center of the first pinhole to the end of the tube, it measures only 2-1/4". With this measurement, you are good to go!
For a locking hitch pin to protect your mount from theft, I suggest the InfiniteRule Locking Pin # AM3492. This comes with locks to lock the ball head to the shank and the shank to the hitch.
I went ahead and attached a video that shows the available measurements we have for the mount.
