When you need to grab something from the bed, you don’t have to deal with a full roll-up or bulky hard cover. The Extang E-Series uses a tri-fold design that lets you open just the rear panel for small items or fold up two sections to free up two-thirds of the bed. The panels secure in place so you can drive with the cover folded open or fully closed depending on what you’re hauling.
Keeping your gear dry is simple with the E-Series. A full perimeter rubber seal wraps the bed and keeps out rain, dust, and road grime. The vinyl top sits tight against the aluminum frame, so water doesn’t sneak in at the edges. Even in heavy weather, this seal helps keep your cargo protected without needing extra tailgate gaskets or foam strips.
You get durability without bulk. The E-Series uses a lightweight aluminum frame with heavy-duty support bows that span the bed for added strength. The vinyl grain cover stays stretched tight, and the frame won’t sag or bend when you close it. It’s sturdy enough for long-term use, yet light enough for one person to remove and reinstall easily.
Installation doesn’t get simpler than this. The entire cover comes pre-assembled, and the attachment hardware is built right in. Spring-loaded tailgate clamps secure it firmly to the bed rails—no separate bolts, no drilling, and nothing to lose. When it’s time to remove it, release the clamps and the whole cover lifts off in minutes with nothing left behind on the truck.
The E-Series sits on top of the bed rails with a smooth, standard-profile look that blends with the truck’s body. Its aerodynamic shape cuts wind drag, helping improve fuel efficiency while driving. It’s a simple way to keep your cargo covered and your truck looking clean every day.

2 years in the cover still looks and fits great. No visable signs of wear. Great product.

That’s actually a pretty common thing with soft tonneau covers like this. When the temperature rises, the vinyl naturally expands, which can cause it to sag a bit in certain spots. It’s not a defect or anything like that, just the way the material reacts to heat. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that can be done to prevent it, especially in hotter climates, but the cover will still do its job of protecting your truck bed. Speaking of which, what do you keep in your bed?

Thanks for your feedback Eric and we apologize that was your experience, The Extang E-series is designed with weather seals and generally does a good job keeping water out during normal rain and driving conditions but like most soft folding tonneau covers, it is not completely waterproof. Going through a car wash, especially one with high pressure sprays or brushes could cause water to seep in around the seals or tailgate area. Touchless washes are usually safer than brush style washes for soft covers like this.
