Question:
Hello — my father with advanced dementia lost my key to the Curt trailer a few months back. He likely tossed it in the garbage. Any way to replace this?. If not — how do I remove it and replace the keypin?

I do have an option for you but there are no replacement keys available for the Curt Lock Set for Adjustable Channel-Style Mounts part # C23556. If the keys can no longer be found then you can either call a locksmith to unlock them or just use a sawzaw/cutoff wheel to remove them which is what I would do since you can't reuse them even if you get it off in one piece. They can then be replaced with the Rapid Hitch Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set part # AM3492.
