Question:

I have a 2024 Blazer AWD. Want to add trailer hitch for a cargo carrier . Which style hitch would you recommend. Looks like they can attach to the car two different ways.

Hi Wayne!

Between the two different styles, I would go for the etrailer hitch # e36YR over the Draw-Tite # 76023 (both of which fit the Premier and non-Premier models). Reason being, it is a lot easier to install.

The etrailer hitch is rated 4 out of 10 for the install difficulty and the Draw-Tite hitch is rated 10 out of 10 for the difficulty. Both are equally hidden and the etrailer hitch actually has higher capacities, so I think it's an easy choice. Plus the etrailer hitch is American made and the matte black finish blends in better than the gloss finish other manufacturers use.

Are you wanting to do this install yourself? And, what are you wanting to use the hitch for?

Oh and you probably won't need it for a cargo carrier, but if you decide to add lights to it, you will want the following part: Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118720 Do you have an installer for this set up already?
