The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13077 is a fit for your 2018 BMW X5 if it is the M performance or the standard, but not the M Sport model. The sDrive35i doesn't seem to specify model as much as rear wheel drive versus all wheel drive so I have to give the disclaimer for fit.
If you have the M sport, the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH79VR or # SH85VR is the correct fit.
