A perfect fit and easy to install. I didnt give it 5 stars because there are no brackets or holes for the bottom mounting bolts on the bottom of the bumper fascia. The included zip ties work OK, but this could easily have accommodated those bottom bolts, and provided better stability for the fascia.
It's well made and mounted right up to my 2021 Jeep GC. I cut the lower bumper and installed the bezel I bought from the dealer. It's easy.
Tip: If you remove the lower part of the bumper, there is no need to remove the upper part.

Great tow hitch, fit perfectly for my Durango. Awesome how to videos, however I did not have to drop my exhaust like in the video so it made my install that much easier.

Really happy with how well this fits and works. The help video was very informative but if you have a little patience, this can easily be installed without dropping the exhaust or spare tire. One improvement i would suggest is to include the tabs to reattach the middle section of the bumper cover and not supply the zip ties for this purpose. I ended up cutting the tabs off the original bumper bar and welding them to the new trailer hitch, which made the center section much more stable. Thanks for a great product!
Had everything but was busted through box when I got it (most likely shipping company). Didn’t use instructions but etrailers video installing this hitch on the same year Durango I had and the harness install which made it a breeze. I’m pretty good with working on cars but this hitch requires the bumper to come off and be cut and the hitch slides into the frame rails and not just bolted to inside of them. I took my time and would say this is a 4 hour install with necessary tools which isn’t much. But the hitch is heavy duty and will handle towing my motorcycle and track car around no problem which is why I went with it.

What kind of motorcycle are you towing, Matthew?
Ill start off with the great customer service, called a rep for assistance and did a great job. He walked me through everything for about 5 minutes. Then I proceeded to order parts at a very reasonable price. Shipping was right on time and tracking was top notch.
Now for the parts I received. Trailer hitch receiver was built like a tank, and very easy to install. I didn't even have to take off the whole bumper which I see on your website. There is only one problem with this hitch receiver. Zip ties to hold the facia bracket? It's like putting a $10 paint job on a Rolls Royce. I'm sure you have a good R&D department, but this is unacceptable. I could tell you how to make this better but I'm not part of your team. could be solved by putting a ___ on the ______. R&D should be smart enough and paid well to figure this out. No offense but they can do better. ??ZIP TIES?? Also, it is pitched with a cap but did not receive that.
I also purchased A brake controller P3 and a ball hitch. The ball hitch is pictured wrong on your website. It's pictured with an adjustable ball hitch. This is what really wanted but got something entirely different. If it works, I'll be fine with it. I should have caught that, but my eyes adjusted on the adjustable ball hitch. P3 brake controller was very easy to install, about 5 minutes.
On a closing note, I will order from etrailer again. Thanks for your business. Just please listen to your customers and fix these problems. Everything and everybody are not perfect. Thanks again.
Everything went great during installation and work fine for towing. The one thing I could suggest for improvement is tabs to attach the bottom bumper cover supports instead of a zip tie.
Worked good. The only thing is there was no place to mount the center bottom of bumper. Like the factory rear bar. So I had to make brackets to mount the center bumper.
Honestly, I was questionable on how those wires would do at guiding the bolts and plates into place, but it was flawless! On my 2013 Durango, the install went perfectly and the install video was about spot-on. The only difference was that on the 2013, you do NOT need to cut the bumper. The ONLY thing I don't like is that there are no tabs to attach the lower facia mounts. I may look into manufacturing something for that. The "custom wiring kit" was a real pain, but I got that elsewhere. eTrailer should be my go-to for everything!
Easy install after watching video if handy. Took approx 2-2.5hrs from start to finish. Additional note: Did not have to drop exhaust to loosen/add new bolts w/ proper impact extensions.
Seems solid and was easy to install. The hardest part was removing the rear air fairing. Would of been a 5 star is they included actual brackets to secure bottom of the air fairing instead of cheap zip ties.
We were deciding between this hitch which hides within the bumper and the tube hitch that drops below the bumper. Aesthetically I wanted this one even though my husband thought it would be more work. This hitch was not as difficult to install as we thought and can't wait to use it this weekend for our bike rack!
The quality is awesome! The hitch was alot more heavy duty then I thought it would be. Being able to use the factory smooth bumper cover on my 2019 durango was great also saved not having to get the bumped out replacement and having to get it painted. Joshua B even checked in after the purchase to make sure everything was OK. Great products sold by a great company! Would buy from them again!

It has worked great so far. I love that it fits inside the bumper and is hidden until we’re to use it.
My mechanic did say it was a pain to install, but that’s why I had him do it ??

Haven’t put it to the test yet with actual towing, but as far as install goes it was super easy. The videos provided by etrailer were thorough and easy to follow along with. The daunting task of pulling off the rear bumper on my new car was less scary after having seen it done. Looks great!

After a year I still love this hitch. Looks great, tows great, not a single complaint. As a consumer I feel I am often very critical of products and I honestly have nothing I can find wrong with it. If you’re on the fence, get it! You won’t be disappointed.

Part fit perfectly and installation videos were very accurate and helpful.
Package was delivered as notified. First impression was the package was damaged,from the inside out. Upon opening I found the contents to be poorly packed. I understand it's a heavy piece. But could have been a little more stuffing to help the contents from shifting inside the box. As for the product small amount of damage to the paint but not significant to the actual use of the product. Thank you for the prompt shipping.

Great receiver. Highest weight rating for my wife’s Durango that I could find on the internet. Definitely worth the money.
We are using this hitch package on our 2017, Durango GT to tow a new (single) personal watercraft. Delivery communication was delivery only took a few days. We had it professionally installed with no issues. I love that the hitch receiver is mostly hidden within the bumper cover (when in use) and that the removable OEM hitch cover fits perfectly with no interference (when not in use), all while maintaining OEM ground clearance. Very slick and MUCH less $$ than the OEM.

Hitch has worked well for a year, including two, 800 mile trips towing a Sea-Doo over the Green Mountains and some heavier local towing. No visible rust on the hitch. Everything has been great about the hitch system except for the chain hook slots, as hook connectionremoval is difficult using chains with a spring loaded latch. Chains without a latch work better.
Worth the extra cost of installation to not have it exposed below the bumper.
So happy I got all the hardware and the receiver was in good shape I have to install but e trailer I would do it again in heartbeat

You make a good point about the zip-ties, it would definitely make more sense to have a more secure solution for supporting the fascia. That said, I’m glad the installation went smoothly and everything fit right up! What are you planning to tow with the Durango?
