Will Draw Tite DT38MR Fit 2015 Grand Cherokee Without Removable Fascia Cover?

Question:
2015 Grand Cherokee Laredo Sport. Spare tire is inside in a spare tire well in the rear, not hanging underneath. - My GC does not have the removable facia cover. Will this hitch fit if I am willing to cut out an access clearance in my facia? - Is that fish wire tool you use in your video included with the installation kit? If not, do you sell one? - the plastic rivets that have to be drilled out: are those included in the kit or do I need to procure some replacements? Thank you!

Hello Shane, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch # DT38MR will fit your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Sport as long as you are willing to cut out a section of the bumper.
The fish wire tools are included with the hardware kit. I believe you get 6 of them. The kit also includes 8 new plastic rivets.
What do you plan to use the hitch for? Are you pulling a camper?

Hi Jesse, Thanks for the confirmation. No specific plans outside of a bike rack, just want the ability to haul something if needed :-) I will likely order this hitch as I like the extra ground clearance. Regarding wiring, my Jeep doesn't have the factory tow package (at least that I'm aware of) but surprisingly I noticed that I have what looks to be a factory trailer wiring connector with a 7 way receptacle that is tucked up underneath the bumper, simply secured with a factory plastic clip. It looks just like the factory connector shown in the video for your wiring kit part number C55384. Any experience with this on whether that wiring is active? I can do research and also put a meter on that thing and test it, just haven't had time yet. Thanks again for your response! Shane
