2025 Tiguan. Fit was great and no trimming of bumper. Note that, when installing, the exposed thread of the bolts after tightening is less on the set that is closest to the bumper. Recommend using a coat hanger to pull the provided fish wires through the holes. Aligning the last bolt can be a bit of a challenge and was the only reason for the approximate 1 hour install time.
Wasn't sure about installing it myself but gave it a try. Installation took less than an hour, a little stressful fishing the wires through the frame to pull in the spacer's & bolts. No bumper trimming as stated in the instructions, very satisfied with the hitch.
The bolt on arms from left right was about 5/8 short in fitting between the frame .That left the treads short to screw on the bolts could not use the washers on one side.Also the 25 Tiguan did not need to trim the bumper
Very simple install, (under 1 hour) I did not have to trim the bumper cover, A perfect fit on the 2025 VW Tiguan
I thought it was a little bit overpriced, but it fit the vehicle

Was very easy to install on my 2025 vw Tiguan.
Have had great success with e-trailer hitches in the past, so this was a great disappointment. Fit was poor. (Distance between hitch mounting plates and auto attachment rails was wrong.) When I fed this back, I received no follow-up to resolve the situation.

Hey, Greg. I'm sorry to hear that you ran into issues when installing the hitch. These hitches are made out of a mild flex steel and sometimes between being shipped to us or from us to you they can flex out of shape. I attached a help article that goes over how to fix this and get the hitch installed. It sounds like you already got the hitch installed so may not find this information helpful but I still wanted to share it with you.
