Using for small 4x8 uhaul trailer. Will I need to cut? Can you also tell me what other items I will need for this install tools, wiring, etc.?

Hey Abbie, thanks for reaching out. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99RJ is the correct fit for the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan.

As far as installation, there is no drilling required, but you will have to trim a section of the bumper cover before you can lift the hitch into place. Aside from that, it'll be pretty straightforward as far as hitch installs go. You'll need a ratchet, 11/16" socket, a cutting tool and a torque wrench. All in all, it should take you about an hour to install.
