Bonjour! Existe-t-il un filage électrique avec un hitch sur un Tiguan 2026. Le concessionnaire dit quils peuvent installer un hitch, mais quil nont pas trouvé la façon de faire pour le filage. Ils nont rien trouvé encore. Good morning! Is there electric wiring with a hitch on a 2026 Tiguan. The dealer says they can install a hitch, but haven't figured out how to do it for spinning. They haven't found anything yet.

Bonjour Dominic ! Le seul faisceau électrique disponible actuellement pour le VW Tiguan 2026 est le convertisseur de feux arrière alimentés Curt avec connecteur plat 4 broches pour remorque (réf. C59496). Il s'agit d'un faisceau universel qui devra être raccordé au câblage d'origine de votre VW.

Pour l'attelage, je recommande le modèle Curt réf. C99RJ. Cet attelage de classe III avec récepteur de 2 pouces est compatible avec le VW Tiguan 2026. Il offre une capacité de remorquage de 907 kg (2 000 lb) et une charge verticale maximale de 91 kg (200 lb).

À quoi comptez-vous utiliser votre nouvel attelage ?

Bonjour Dominic! The only wiring harness we currently have for the 2026 VW Tiguan is the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector item # C59496. This is a universal wiring harness that would need to be spliced into your VW's factory wiring.

For a hitch, I recommend the Curt item # C99RJ. This class III hitch with a 2" receiver has been confirmed to fit the 2026 VW Tiguan it has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight.

Hey Dominic, how did things go with the Curt wiring harness and hitch for your Tiguan? Were you able to get the wiring spliced into the factory setup without any issues? Sharing how it turned out could help others working on the same vehicle.

@JerredH Jerred, I have the same issue... but i didnt get a Q5 :-) I'm looking for a trailer module to fit my 2026 Tiguan SEL Turbo with the animated tail lights. I took a look at the wiring and there is only 3 wires going to the tail lights.... appears to be power and ground and a signalling wire (LIN BUS I assume)... I have a Curt 56236 module that i used to use in my Q3 but thinking that likely wont work... Any thoughts of options without going to a VW original trailer module? I'd be happy to share install pics.... and by the way the Curt hitch listed for the 2025 model still fits the 2026 Tiguan SEL Turbo just fine... no issues with the install of the hitch itself :-) Cheers
