Question:
I recently purchased a 2024 F250. I have a Lance 2465 TT - about 30foot in length 1,000 tongue weight. I towed with a F150, with an Andersen wdh hitch. 2inch receiver, 10,000 plus miles no problem. New F250 - added 2inch reducer sleeve. Within 5,000 miles Ive replaced several pins all bent and now my receiver hitch pin holes are all warbled out. I believe I should replace my receiver hitch and go with a 2 1/2 shaft for Andersen wdh. Wondering what receiver hitch do you recommend to replace OEM and am I oversized for Andersen wdh? Thank you, Greg Im not a huge customer. I did recently order and install new receiver hitch for my Honda CRV. That worked pretty slick. Thanks

Hey Greg, you could go with the Curt Class V hitch part # C15802 to replace your worn out hitch. Then for a 2-1/2 inch shank to use with your WD system you could us the Equal-i-zer Shank part # EQ90-02-4900.

Hey Greg, how did the new Curt Class V hitch and Equal-i-zer shank work out on your F250 with the Lance trailer? It’d be great to hear if that setup solved the issue with the bent pins and worn receiver. Your update could make it easier for others towing similar loads.
