Great fit but don’t make valence cut out per installation will be way too big. Hang hitch on back 2 bolts jack up in top of receiver will show thru then make side and bottom cuts with multitool tool tight to top slowly so not to over cut

I appreciate the instruction call out Gary from Lancaster =) I wish Curt would go in and reevaluate they cutouts. What do you plan on using the hitch for?

The Installation went great and the Installation video was very helpful. I thought I could be clever and install the hitch by myself by using a floor jack to hold the hitch in place and attach the two bottom bolts first, but when I did that the top four bolt holes wouldn't align! So, I had to completely remove the hitch and have my son assist me in installing the hitch by FIRST installing the top four bolts as shown in the Installation video. Once the top four bolts were installed the bottom two were easy. I tend to be an OCD DIYer and am pleased how the cut out turned out in the front air dam. Enjoy the photos. I highly recommend this hitch for the Ford F-350 Super Duty trucks.

Glad the install went smoothly after getting some helping hands, Mark! What are you going to be using this hitch for?

2025 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Fits perfectly and included all the correct hardware to install. I did not need to trim the airdam on my 2025 F350 PowerStroke with the Tremor package. The Tremor package has a much shorter airdam. Receiver hitch sits about 2" below the airdam. I used all 6 provided bolts instead of the existing 4 bolts, as the new bolts were longer and provided plenty of length for the nut to fasten. It's a very solid fit.

Instructions were good except for tiny picture of cutout for receiver tube in air dam. On my truck with large air dam I was able to leave the bottom of the air dam uncut.

Instructions to cut facial are vague. So the hole in mine is way longer then necessary. Receiver tube is short, the hitch pin sets behind facial panel. This makes pinning anything into it a pain. See pics. I have installed similar hitches before, and they were perfect. Not real pleased with this.

So far so good! My son and I installed it today in about 1/2 hour. It was actually very easy! Remove 4 bolts, and install with 6 provided bolts. We used a floor jack to support it while we added the first 2 bolts. I did wait to cut the front faring until absolute last thing. This allowed me to get as close as possible without any measuring. I’m not super thrilled with how that still turned out but that’s because of the shape of the faring. I’m happy with how my bike rack fits the truck, but I do think I’m going to have to be thoughtful about the rack with some street to parking lots/gas station traditions.

eTrailer had what I needed and it was delivered quick. However like others in the comments the hitch receiver took a beating. It was definitely still usable and the hardware was well taped to the receiver but it probably should be better boxed.

Easy installation,and easy to order as well as free shipping. I'm definitely not mad about it! I did not follow the directions as far as the cutout. It is better to measure the square tube reciver so it looks cleaner.

Do not follow the instructions for cutting the air dam. I cut mine 3" wide and 3 1/2 " tall. It was still a little wide. It goes without saying "you can always enlarge it but can't make the hole smaller." The poor instructions kept me from giving it 5 stars. I was able to put black silicon around the cut. Other than that it went on fine and seems to be sturdy. I chose the curt because it was lower and a bicycle rack would not stick up as high,

This front hitch receiver for my 2022 Ford F350 appears to be very well made and delivery was super quick. Made in USA .. won’t this get this installed until 10/26 and will post pics when it’s finished.. one down side of this order is when I received the box from UPS it was in very bad shape with big holes that allowed the hitch assembly to penetrate the box and stick outside the packaging exposing it to possible damage. But it appears to be in relatively good shape, few minor scratches.. please consider better packaging protection for this USA made product

The plow itself works great. The winch has a short strap which broke after the first time of using it. Because of the warranty, the winch was replaced. We've modified it with a longer, more resilient strap and have used it on three major snows now.

Definitely a quality item, very satisfied with it. My truck is a 2X4 so has a smaller air foil below the bumper and it did not require cutting, there's a 1/32 to 1/16 inch gap between the two. I used some wood blocking to support it for the install and checked the paperwork and my measurements a few times thinking that I might have the wrong part because when the hitch was supported by the hardware there was about a 5/16 gap on both sides, had to draw that in by tightening each side alternately. All in all good. The hitch has the mounting holes needed for existing items that you will move to fit it in. Took me 4 hours to install including sizing the wood blocking that I used to support it. Also because I had to tighten each side a little at a time to close the gaps, tough work on the thick plate that is used to make the hitch. Extremely happy with the hitch including the access to the pin. Definitely glad I got it, definitely glad I got it here as well, on my porch in three days :)

I installed a large tool box for extra storage during an extended trip to Utah. The hitch was no problem and I minimized lateral movement by strapping the box frame to my tow hooks and it worked great. I will be installing a front motorcycle carrier in the future

2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Kudos to E-Trailer for fast delivery. Due to the weight the box was beat up pretty bad, but no damage to the hitch. Quality hardware included as well as fish wires to get the hidden bolts into place. The measurements for cutting the slot in the air dam were wrong as far as I was concerned. The instructions said to cut 4 inches up and 3 1/2 inches wide. As you can see by the pictures, 4 inches up is too much. The top should be cut right where the curve at the top of the air dam cross feature is. I did install this by myself. A helper would have been a good idea. If you choose to install this solo, get the supplied bolts that hang down vertical started loosely first to carry the weight of the hitch. Then you can maneuver the hitch to line up the holes for the side bolts. Once everything is tight the hitch is very solid and except for my boo-boo with cutting the air dam, is almost invisible.

    Hi Mark; the installation of the Curt Front Hitch # C31078 will require removing those brackets permanently. The same is true for any other front mount hitch that fits your 2023 F-350. These crash brackets are designed to keep small vehicles from going under the front of the truck in a collision.     In general the taller the plow the better the angle it can be set at which allows for easier scraping. The wider the plow the more snow it moves in a single pass.     I can confirm that both the Draw-Tite # 65076 and Curt # C31078 front hitches are fully compatible with the adaptive cruise control on the 2021 Ford F-250; we have not confirmed that this is also the case with the EcoHitch # 306-X7904. Judging from what I've seen with some other folks that have installed this it looks like the adaptive cruise control sensor installs over the front hitch, so you should not have any issues.   • Highest Capacity Front Mount Hitch for a 2019 Ford F-350
    If you are carrying more than 500 lbs on the front of your F-350 then the only front mount hitch that will work is the EcoHitch item # 306-X7904. This hitch has a 1,000 lbs vertical load limit (tongue weight). The Curt item # C31078 only has a 500 lbs limit. Both are confirmed to fit a 2019 F-350. I have linked an installation video below.
