Nice option for the vehicle!Fits nicely on the G35. Installation is not too bad. You do need to do some trimming of the bumper and underbody plastic cover. but, none of the trimming is visible from the back of the vehicle. It can only be seen if you stick your head under the bumper. My only complaint would be that the supplied flange nut and square tow loop spacer bar would come painted black. As shiny metal, the kind of stand out when installed. Spray paint them black, and they are virtually invisible.
Communication and ordering were superb. Adam was knowledgeable and confirmed the correct product and shipped immediately. I will add more after instal but YouTube instal demo video is excellent and product received is exactly as ordered. I rarely do reviews but like to acknowledge outstanding service in today’s world of frustrating call centers.
2013 G37 Journey: Installed just like the instructions stated with one exception in my case. The four bolts that hold the hitch plate to the bumper are not long enough to attach the hitch AND the Infiniti aluminum bumper fascia spacer. I didn't see a problem not using this spacer, it's not structural. The eTrailer installation video for similar G37 hitches do not use the fascia spacer either. I haven't used the hitch yet, but it sure seems like a strong installation! About 2.5 hours total, no special tools, pretty straightforward installation, nice results!
Was able to install in one hour. Fits perfect and feels solid. All required hardware provided. Be sure to find the install video for your car or truck. The installation video was super helpful and well done.
This is perfect for my bike rack and light duty towing.
This hitch was simple to install, with the exception of my rusted bolts under the car, but I can't blame the hitch on that! We have been using this on our 2007 Infiniti g35x for hauling a small trailer. It works great for this type of use, but is not suitable for bike racks or cargo racks as the part the hitch attaches to on the car will bend. I would imagine this is mainly a limitation to the frame mount options of this specific car.
This worked very well for us. We were moving from California to Tennessee. This fit well and pulled great. Our G37 pulled a 4x8 trailer filled with a BMW RS 1200 and a motor and a bunch of other items. It pulled across country like there was nothing there. Thanks.
I found an item just purchased for $[XX] less on [online vendor] and they would not match the price for the exact same part. That is NOT GOOD customer Service. I’m going to return the item and get a refund. BAD Policy!! Not smart

A solid, quality unit that installed quite easily. One issue that I have is that it requires the use of the existing hardware to attach the main plate. The bolts, in my opinion are not long enough. With the added washers supplied, there is minimal thread engagement. I opted to go with 35mm long bolts for full engagement. Out side of this I would recommend the product.
