Does Bumper Fascia Spacer Need to Be Reinstalled on 2013 Infiniti G37 When Installing Curt Hitch
Updated 12/04/2023 | Published 12/03/2023 >
Question:
I purchased this hitch and was able to get it installed, however, I was unable to install it with the Bumper Fascia Spacer. The M8 bolts are just not long enough to have it go through both the hitch and the fascia spacer. Is that going to be an issue with leaving the fascia spacer out? Everything else fits fine and is torqued to specs, but I was unable to install the hitch with the bumper fascia spacer I have.

I reached out to my contact at Curt and he said you need to have that Bumper Fascia Spacer back in place when you install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11499 on your 2013 Infiniti G37.
If you open it back up feel free to shoot me some photos of what the issue is and I can see if I can provide any assistance.
