When you’re climbing steep grades or rolling through packed snow and ice, traction makes all the difference. These grooved square links cut in deeper than standard links so your tires can grip instead of spin. The ladder pattern gives forward pull through snow, ice, or even mud, keeping you moving when conditions turn rough.
Getting chains snug can be tough in freezing weather, but the integrated cams simplify the job. Just twist them with the included tool and the chain pulls tight around the tire. For an even firmer hold, you can add rubber adjusters (sold separately). It’s quick, clean, and keeps the chains centered so you can get back on the road faster.

These chains are designed for long service life. Each link can be flipped and used on the opposite side once one face wears down. That reversible design means you get double the use from the same set, saving you time and money over repeated seasons of winter driving.
Built from nickel manganese alloy steel and case hardened for durability, these chains stand up to tough conditions and resist corrosion. The hard outer layer shields against road wear and rust, while the inner core absorbs stress without cracking. They’re made to handle the grind of deep snow, icy routes, or long winter hauls without giving up strength.
Each pair includes two chains sized for tires from 22-1/2" to 24-1/2". Whether you’re driving mountain passes or rural snow routes, they deliver the traction and durability you need when the snow piles up.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the pewag All Square 5.6 millimeter Snow Tire Chains. These are gonna be a ladder pattern style chain, so they're gonna be a little more rough of a ride than the diagonal or diamond pattern chains, but that's not a huge deal, these aren't gonna be the roughest ride of all of them though, there are some all square snow tire chains that are a little bit bigger, these are 5.6 millimeters linked thick, so these are relatively larger, but not as big as they can go, so they're gonna get you a decent amount of traction, and these are gonna be less traction than some of the V-bar style chains. These do have a little bit stronger steel material, it's manganese nickel alloy, some of them are low carbon steel, so these are definitely winning when it comes to how hard and how strong they are, so they should last a long time. And one thing I like about it is just the cam tensioners, they really do help get a really nice fit on the chain, so that is something to kinda think about, just because as treads start to kinda go down, sometimes the diameter of your tire changes ever so slightly, so with the cam tensioners, you can be confident that they're as tight as they can be, so they're not gonna fall off or anything and damage the vehicle. These won't damage your wheels, so notice how we have a very large amount of gap between the chain and our rims, so even if we we're in very, very thick, heavy snow where it's pushing in on the side walls, it's not gonna go and scratch our wheels, that's something I look at, just because these are nice and I wanna keep them nice, so you don't have to worry about that with these. If you wanna put these on just the back wheels of whatever vehicle you may have, you can do that, it does come in a pack of two, but if you do wanna put it on the front wheel as well, you're gonna have to grab two of these.
So they have a pretty big bag and it's not a canvas bag, so it is not gonna rip near as easily, so that's a good thing. There's plenty of room in the bag too to get all the chains in there, so you don't have to worry about just kinda having to stuff stuff in. A lot of times, when you get products, sometimes, they don't get packaged up as nice and neatly as they did before, but with these, they have plenty of room in this bag. But once it's all in there, it's about this size, it'll fit underneath your backseat or in your toolbox, whatever you have going on on your vehicle. But when it comes to these, I think they're gonna be a pretty good option for you.
And that's pretty much it for a look at the pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with cam tensioners..
