Question:
I have a new born and a toddler and the amount of junk we have doesnt fit in my car when going on trips. I was going to get a roof rack with a box... but its a bit too pricy for my budget. Plus Im concerned about MPG on the highway. So I was looking into the trailer hitch for my G and was wondering, with a 200lb tongue weight, how much can I load onto it? I know 200lbs total, but I cant find the weight of the cargo racks in the descriptions, I assume the weight of the rack contributes to the overall capacity.

You are correct in that the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C11499, for the 2010 Infiniti G37 will have a max limit of 200 lbs of weight that you can carry on a cargo carrier.
When looking at a cargo carrier you will need to factor in the weight of the carrier as well as the cargo when mounted in the Curt hitch. A cargo carrier like the Curt Cargo Carrier, # C18145, will fit the Curt hitch and has a weight of 29 lbs. So with this carrier you would be able to carry a max weight of 171 lbs. Even though this carrier has a 300 lbs weigh capacity, you cannot exceed the 200 lbs limit on the hitch. You will also need an additional stabilizing strap like # 18050.
For the type of hitch that is recommended on your Infiniti G37, we carry three cargo carriers that are rated to work on your vehicle. I have attached a link that will bring you to the page that lists the three carriers. When you click on each carrier you can find the carrier's weight under the specs section on the product page.
I recommend going with the lightest carrier so you can carry most cargo allowed.
I have also linked a video review of the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145.
