Question:
what is the throw on the catch? Im looking to use this on a custom lift type aluminum door. Can it be mounted in any position? Thanks.

The Redline T-Handle Door Latch, part # L4080 can be mounted in any position you choose. You will just need to make sure the latching bar will catch, wherever the door latch is mounted.
The amount of throw on the latch is 1-1/2 inches. See the accompanying photo for the area I measured on the latch.
