Just as pictured. It fits the Draw-Tite GN on my 2011 Silverado 2500 HD perfectly! It is a big heavy-duty item and must weigh about 10#. The weld around the ball is nicely done.

This is a great product and really helps in tight turns. It is very well made and all that needs to be done is keep the ball lubricated. We are pulling a 26 3-horse trailer. No evidence of any corrosion.

The 5” offset ball did not fit my 2016 Ram 2500 so I had to send it back. I hope it will not be necessary when my gen-y hitch arrives.

by:

The offset ball works great and gives me plenty of room to move my camper around. The shorter bed on the newer trucks don't give much room for turning, but with the offset ball I haven't had any issues yet

by:

Order this hitch and got it in a few days with no problem! Pretty quick delivery!!

by:

Perfect offset.

by:

It was almost terrible, but ended up great. I Georgia company much more on how they conduct themselves when things don't quite go right rather than when they go perfectly. It's easy to look like a rockstar when everything is perfect, but it is much harder to be a quality company when things don't go your way. This time around I was accidentally shipped the wrong part for an upcoming trip in a couple of days, I was able to get a hold of my original sales representative Cassandra and she was able to identify and rectify the issue and time for a very important cross country trip. Her courtesy and professionalism throughout the entire experience was exemplary and has earned this company a loyal customer. I will certainly buy more equipment especially from Cassandra she did an excellent job.

by:

Good product. Would be nice if the hitch plate kit had the option to include this ball. b/c now I have the straight ball that I don't use that came with the system.

Went line to find an offset ball hitch found at etrailer.com it was quick and easy. The hitch arrived quickly and the quality is fantastic!!

by:

It works great now my camper is not right at my back window. But I gave it 3 stars because I still have to remove my toolbox on my 2012 F150 Supercrew.

by:

Great quality product. Very well made, extremely durable, provided enough clearance for my shortbed GMC. Plus the shipping and customer service was exceptional, compared to other places that i checked previously. Would recommend this product and etrailer for your needs!

by:

It solved the back window interference problem with towing my horse trailer on a truck with a 5.5ft bed.

by:

Product was delivered as scheduled and works fantastic. Thanks etrailer for your service.

  • What 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Hitch do I Need for My 2019 Ford F250 with Short Bed?
Hello Shane, Great question, and I am going to need you pin box number to ensure we are getting you the right part number. If you are unsure of your pin box number, please feel free to send me the information off of the sticker on your current Pin Box so I can get it from Lippert. Since your 2019 F250 is a short bed you are definitely going to need an offset. The Shocker 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pinbox for Lippert 1621/0719 and Rhino Box - 24K GTW - 6K TW # SHK23MR has a 3" offset. I attached...

  • Which One is Better the Gen-Y Offset Gooseneck Ball for Ford Puck Systems or the Curt?
Hey Eric! I do recommend the Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Ford OEM Puck Systems item # GY43XR. Curt's got one item # C78ZV but I prefer Gen-Y's because of the sturdiness of it's construction. Plus the Gen-Y will give you a 5" offset over the Curt's 4". The one perk of the Curt item # C78ZV is that it's adjustable so that you can fit various puck systems. It might be a better option if you plan on switching trucks again and want to reuse the offset ball. What kind of 5th wheel...

The 5" Offset Ball # 19308 will only work with the Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, and Reese Hide-A-Goose gooseneck trailer hitches do to the dimensions of the shank and the location of the hitch pin hole. If you have the Curt Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch then you can use the Curt 4" Offset Ball # C602 instead as it is designed specifically for this Curt hitch. Unfortunately if you have something different then there isn't a solution for an offset ball, but we might still have an alternative...

  • Offset Gooseneck Ball Recommendation for Draw Tite Hitch in 2016 Ram 3500
If the gooseneck hitch you had was the Draw Tite Hide-A-Goose style of hitch the offset gooseneck ball part # 19308 would fit and work well. The hitch you'd have to have installed in your 2016 Ram 3500 would be the part # 9466 which is the correct fit for your truck. Reese does not make a gooseneck hitch for your truck but Draw Tite and Reese are made by the same company.

  • How to Gain Turning Clearance for a Gooseneck Trailer on a 2017 Ford F-250 with Factory Prep Package
I do have an option for you but they do not make an offset gooseneck hitch ball for your 2017 Ford F-250 with the factory prep package to my knowledge so no, part # 19308 will not fit. Instead, you will want to consider an offset coupler like the B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler part # BWTEXA4200 which fits around a 4" diameter tube and offers 10" of extension. I have attached a review video of the coupler for you as well.

  • Will Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Adapter Fit Hide-A-Goose Hitch in 2006 Ford F-250
Hi Sam; the ball height requirement for the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel # DM8550045 is 5" from the top of the bed to the top of the ball. With your standard Hide-A-Goose hitch ball this won't be a problem. If you have the high rise ball it might be too tall. I recommend grabbing a quick measurement just to be sure.

Hey Glenn, for the 2024 Ram 2500 Gen-Y only makes the 5 inch offset hitch ball for the OEM pucks with the part # GY83XR. There isn't a 4 inch version available as well but even if there was the 5 inch offset would be better since you'd get just a little more turning clearance. The # 19308 doesn't work because it was designed to fit a different gooseneck hitch so it wouldn't fit.

This will bolt onto your exisiting pin box rather than replace it, already includes a 7 1/2" offset which will give you 2 1/2" more of clearance than # 19308, and has the same 20,000 lb capacity as the Goose Box. Hello Danny, thanks for reaching out. That 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # 19308 may work for you, but I would have no way to confirm this. We do not carry the Ecotric brand. That is mainly a brand carried by the "jungle website", so we would not have any specs or information on these to compare to. Typically you get what you pay for with those jungle website brands so we try to avoid them. Not to mention their customer service is non-existent if you ever need...

You will want to check your 5th wheel's pin weight to ensure the 3.5K model is going to be the right capacity though. They do make an offset gooseneck ball adapter for the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9467 on your 2016 Ram 2500, the 5" Offset Ball part # 19308 but this still is more than likely not enough...

If you can load your trailer so that the tongue weight is between 10 and 15 percent of the total trailer weight you will reduce sway as much as possible. Also too much weight forward is very hard on the vehicle and too little weight forward is hard on the trailer, especially the...
