Can Door Be Replaced On Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet

Question:
HI - I have a 2025 Casita Independence Deluxe that has the Valterra Mighty Cord A10-30INBKVP installad. A service shop snapped the outside door off of the inlet, Can a new door or or a new door and outside cover be installed without have to rewire and reinstall a new power inlet? Thanks for your help,

Hey Ron! Sorry to hear that happened. Have you asked them to replace it? The Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet # A10-30INBKVP door isn't available separately but it can be replaced. You can remove the four screws from the cover which will allow you to pull it out. Then remove the 3 screws to pull it free from the door/cover and reverse the steps to attach the new one. The rest of the parts can remain as spares.

Thanks for your help. I'll try Valterra first, but I am not hopeful. Trailer has better info on their site for this product than Valterra offers on their own site. I think the same factory in China is supplying this same unit to multiple RV parts folks.
