Good quality product. Thats why I shop etrailer because they wont sell something they dont believe to be of good quality and function. In house testing of the product before it's on the site save us customers the headache of failed products, returns & replacement. One year follow ups with their customers helps this too. Excellent Service reliable products & instructional videos.

The track is good. I have not gotten to use it much since I put it in a trailer that is used for sound engineering and the coronavirus pretty well squashed all the business. But I like it and I'm happy with the product.

by:

It is E-Trac what more can I say than it does what is designed to do.

by:

Etrailer supplied the equipment I needed at a great price and shipped the the northwest coast with on days from when I placed the order.
All the e-track hardware and equipment was in stock and arrived packaged very well with no shipping damage.
The e-track is heavy duty, much more than I had expected and it was easy to install.
Looking forward to upgrading my trailer even more from etrailer.

Thanks again!

We placed a small order with your company and I don't think I have ever had an order (large or small) handled as efficiently and quickly as this one was. Your representatives were very friendly and helpful and your service was excellent. Your web site is very easy to navigate and I really like having tracking information on your website instead of tracking on UPS or FedEx sites. Great job!

Just received the E-Track chocks for my cargo trailer. They were back ordered but everything else I ordered arrived quickly and in good shape. The chocks took a little while but the communication was very good from Cathy T. at etrailer, the customer service is outstanding.

by:

I purchased the vertical tracks to be used with the storage hooks. Installation was very straight forward and I have eliminated various articles previously on the floor and are now carefully organized on the trailer wall by using the above system. Overall I am very satisfied and feel they accomplished their purpose.

by:

Installed the vertical e track. Only issue I had was that the track installation holes are spaced further apart than the trailer frame is wide. Fixed the issue by using short screws to install track over frame into the plywood, than drilling holes in order to use longer screws to go thru plywood into metal framework. Loaded the trailer, strapped everything in, and drove 350 miles to the jobsite. Everything was secure upon arrival. Product worked well.

by:

This is an excellent product. It was perfectly suited to what I wanted to do. See attached picture.

by:

I mounted this vertical E-Track to the steel stud on the front inside wall of my trailer. It holds my spare tire up and out of the way very nicely. It also provides an additional place to hook my straps. The steel stud isn't very wide, so I was only able to use the mounting holes on one side of the track, and I mounted it on top of the paneling, and it's holding up very well!

by:

I totally love E-Trac !! Where would I be without them ?? Totally flexible and versatile!!

by:

Great product, easy to install. I used a 2nd section as a backing plate on our Aluma TK1 trike trailer, with 1/4 inch galvanized bolts, every 3-4 holes. fast shipping, great pricing.

by:

Modified this cargo trailer to haul RC airplanes(too big to fit in my pickup) and remove the upper deck to make it useful for hauling other items. This makes a truly utility cargo trailer. Numerous tie downs with Etrack is really great. I have other pics if your interested. I just purchased an enclosed car hauler and I plan on installing Etrack in it. Thanks for making great products !

by:

Super Well Made!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by:

I haul live bait on a galvanized trailer. The e-track system is ideal for my application. The salt water doesn't affect anything and works great. I also use it to secure UTVS. I couldn't be more happy with the products and the service.

by:

Works great when vertical strapping is needed and space is tight!

by:

Well made vertical support to secure items to the trailer wall.

by:

Perfect for adjustable shelving or other items you want to move up and down in your garage or enclosed trailer! I even used them to make a barrier in my tool trailer to keep things in place.

by:

Great item. Made a bed in my trailer.

I have an enclosed trailer and needed some way to secure items to the sides. This product is just the right thing for this. I have used these to secure items and they work great. Highly recommend this product.

by:

Received my vertical E track along with my spare tire holder and installed it last night in temperatures that dip down to 9 degrees ! to say the least installed it in record time.
Had no issues with either product I gave both products a five star rating.

by:

Great quality, easy installation, made adding shelves to my trailer a breeze. I screwed them into 3/4 inch plywood, instead of the trailer framing, which reduces the weight capacity, however, i'm not storing anything NEAR what these shelves can hold. Everything's screwed together, and the shelves are removable/adjustable. (I have no experience with this type of project.

by:

As requested, here are some pics of my e-track installation. I find the raised e-tracks in the floor very problematic and dangerous so I made sure they were recessed. This is now an extremely versatile cargo trailer.

by:

I installed this track in a horizontal fashion on the side wall all the way around the inside of my trailer. This allows me to secure any size and shape load to the the wall of the trailer as opposed to just trying to tie it off over the top, much more secure and adaptable than just using the tie offs on the outside of the trailer. It was easy to install and is a snap to use.

by:

I received the products just as described it too about 4 working days.
I plan on building shelves into my enclosed trailer for camping gear.

Well I love the tracks you can do so much with if you do not own any your missing the boat here. I have them in the trailer and they work like a dream. You have lots of adjustments with them.

  • Can You Build a Bed With the Erickson Vertical E-Tracks and Move It Up and Down
It is indeed possible to build a bed using the Erickson Vertical E-Tracks like part # E19146 for example. In order to do so you will need some brackets like the CargoSmart Shelf Brackets part # 3481726 or CargoSmart Board Holder part # 348892 and some lumber. That said, you would not be able to move the bed up and down as a whole. If you did not attach the bed to the bracket then you could so in only a few pieces but since the bed would be pinned between the tracks you couldn't lift it...

  • E-Track Recommendation for 5 x 8 Haulmark Transport Deluxe Cargo Trailer
The Erickson E-Track is very versatile so they isn't a specific size or model for your 5 x 8 Haulmark Transport Deluxe Cargo Trailer, just install as much or as little as you want, on the deck or on the wall. I have included a link to all of the E-Track tracks, as well as the accessories, for you. If this were my trailer, in order to accommodate a variety of different loads, I would install 2 of the 5 ft Long Horizontal E-Track, # E19148, on the deck of the trailer and 4 of the 4 ft Vertical...

  • Vertical or Horizontal Etrack for Securing Bed to Cargo Trailer Floor
Since your plan is to put the etrack on the lowest part of the trailer walls as possible I think vertical etrack like part # E19146 would be the best. But if you wanted horizontal it would work well too realistically. For that part # EM19147 would be what you need.

  • Best Versatile Tie-Down Options for a Cargo Trailer
I am not sure how many of the Erickson E-Track systems you have seen but it really is your best bet when it comes to versatility and functionality. Not only do they have the Horizontal E-Track, like part # E19148, but they also have Vertical E-Track like part # E19146. You could install both types of track on your cargo trailer (if it is enclosed) and then move the attachment points around by either using the Erickson E-Track Strap # EM59136 or using the Tie-Off w/ D-Ring # E59143 along...

  • How to Mount E-Track Cargo Control System E19148 To Inside Wall of Enclosed Trailer
The Erickson E-Track Trailer Cargo Control tracks, part # E19148, are intended to mount to the structural components of a trailer. These locations provide the most secure mounting to ensure your cargo remains stable within your trailer during transport. Without a secure mounting location you will not be able to use the full 6000 pound working load limit provided by the tracks. The attached video may be helpful; it demonstrates installation of the E-Track system in an enclosed trailer with...

  • Using E-Track to Make Bunk Beds Inside of an Enclosed Trailer
Sorry Jim but your wife already got to us and I'm afraid you'll have to go on the all-beet diet! I kid, I kid. The Rack'em shelf kit # RA-13 is great for shelves but to make some bunk beds I recommend going with E-Track # E19146. This single 4 foot long section is rated for 6,000 pounds (of course the way it is mounted and what it is mounted to also would have to be rated that high to get the full capacity). But if you used 6 of these (2 extra for added support) then you and your hunting...

  • How Much Weight Can the E-Tracks Hold Attached To Plywood
Yes, you can use wood screws to secure the e-tracks to the plywood walls in your trailer. However, as you mentioned the weight capacity would be less than if you were to attach them to metal beams. The tracks themselves can handle up to 2,000 lbs but the weight capacity of the system is always going to be limited to how they are attached. Unfortunately, there would be no way to give you specific figures or ratings when attached to plywood as there are just too many factors involved such...

  • Can E-Track Install in Trailer Application Where One Side Only Attaches to Metal
Your setup would be totally fine. Especially considering this is a bed application where the force will be straight down. Every third hole on the metal side and every other on the wood would be more than adequate and would be super solid.

  • Will RackEm Spare Tire Carrier for E-Track Work With 6-Lug Wheels
I checked out our Expert answers and could not find a reference to limits on the wheel lugs the # RA-16HST would work with. As long as the pilot hole on your tire measures at least 2-15/16 inches diameter, your tire will fit over the end of the arm on the carrier. It uses only one of the wheel lug holes to hold the tire in place. I have attached a photo that shows this carrier being used with a wheel that has 6 lug holes you can check out. • Can Erickson E-Track Be Used on Exposed Deck of Open Utility Trailer
Erickson E-Track Cargo Control items like # EM59150, # E19148 and # E19146 are not painted but rather they are given a zinc coating treatment to provide corrosion resistance since they are made of steel. These are perfectly suitable for use on the deck of an open trailer. Be sure to use appropriate non-corrosive galvanized hardware to install the tracks. No fewer than 2 fasteners per linear foot (on each side) are required.

  • Does the E-Track Wood Beam Socket # 59149 Have a Weight Capacity
The E-Track Wood Beam Socket # 59149 that you referenced doesn't have a capacity listed for it because the wood installed in it would break long before it would. To install the vertical E-track sections like the 4 foot section part # E19146 you could use self-tapping screws. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

  • Can I Use The Vertical E-Track E19146 In The Horizontal Position For My Covered Cargo Trailer
My contact at Erickson confirmed that you are definitely able to use the Vertical E-Track # E19146 in the horizontal position. The advantage for you is that it will mount to the space you need it to fit. The only disadvantage of using the Vertical Track # E19146 is that there are less anchor points to hook into than the Horizontal E-Track, part # EM59150. To connect straps to the E-Track, you will need to use E-Track 2 Inch D-Ring, part # E59143. I have linked a video review of the D-ring...

  • What Fasteners to Use to Secure Erickson E-Track to Trailer Interior
Erickson E-Track should be secured to the mounting surface with no fewer than 2 fasteners per linear foot per side, so for example a 3-foot section would need no less than 8 fasteners. The type and length of fastener depends on the mounting surface more than anything else. The screws used should be either stainless or galvanized and they should be long enough to take full advantage of the depth of material at the mounting point. There isn't a specific height from the trailer floor recommended to mount the E-Track. My gut feeling is that if 3 feet is too low and 4 feet is too high then 3-1/2 feet might be perfect. Another option is to mount E-track pieces vertically along the walls of the trailer so you have more height adjustment (but less front to back adjustment). You would likely need at least 4 pieces of E-Track for this. You could use vertical E-Track # E19146. I have linked a video showing how we installed...
