Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the etrailer E Track Board Holders

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna talk about the Erickson E Track Board Holders. Now, these are gonna be great, because the ones I'm talking about specifically today are gonna come in a kit of two. We do have another variation of this that comes in a kit of one. The kits of two are nice, because if you need to hold up any boards, like we're doing right now, you typically need usually around four of them. So having just two kits of two is gonna help you out a long way.

And these are nice, because it's just gonna really mount up to any type of shelving that you need to have in your garage to help keep things organized. And just to kinda show you what you can use this for, right now, on this shelf, I just have a couple things, just a little tiny box where I have some smaller hardware in. And then, over here, I got this bag of salt. And really, it's just gonna be up to you what you wanna use these for. The biggest thing is that you don't overload these.

So right now, with this little bracket, this is gonna have a capacity of 200 pounds per bracket. And what's also important is you're just going from the lowest rated component. So yes, the brackets are rated pretty highly. Just make sure the wood that you're using is also gonna be able to handle that weight. But besides that, you can pretty much put whatever you want to here as long as it fits on your shelf and it remains within that weight capacity.

It's just gonna be something to help really keep your trailer or your garage a lot more organized. And this is gonna be constructed from steel, and it's gonna have the zinc finish to it, so it's just gonna last you a long time. And on top of that, we're gonna have these holes on the sides and underneath. You can actually use these holes to drill into your wood to make sure that these don't separate, if that's the kinda way you wanna go with it. Or you can just simply slot your wood in there and remove it whenever you need to.

And the way this is gonna install into your E Tracks is just gonna be like this. So you just lift up on this spring at the top, push it into place, and rest it at the bottom. It'll click into place. It'll stay in there pretty good. And then when you need to remove it, simply just push on that top tab, lift up on it, you're good to go. But at the end of the day, this is gonna be something to help really organize your garage or your trailer. And if you already have the E Track system in either one of those, you might as well use it. And it's just super simple to use and really work with with it being so versatile. But if you only need one extra piece, because maybe you had something or a project going on, and you didn't realize you're one bracket short, or maybe the one that you had just isn't working as well anymore, 'cause you've had it for a really long time, then maybe I'll just go with the single variation of this.
