Question:

In all your answers regarding the RA-16HST you mention this is only for 4 and 5 lug wheels. Why not 6 lug wheels? If the center hole goes over the larger square tube and you line up one of the lug holes with the threaded rod above it, it seems to me its a no-brainer. What am I missing? I have 6 lug x 15inch wheels will this product support it? desperate for a solution.

I checked out our Expert answers and could not find a reference to limits on the wheel lugs the # RA-16HST would work with.

As long as the pilot hole on your tire measures at least 2-15/16 inches diameter, your tire will fit over the end of the arm on the carrier. It uses only one of the wheel lug holes to hold the tire in place. I have attached a photo that shows this carrier being used with a wheel that has 6 lug holes you can check out.

To be able to use this carrier you will need the E-Track rail. I recommend part # E19146. This is a 4-ft rail you can mount the carrier to.

We also offer the spare tire carrier with a section of vertical track. for that you would want part # RA-16.
