Horizontal or Vertical E-Track for the Floor of an Enclosed Trailer

Im thinking about installing the Erickson E-Track system, on the FLOOR of my enclosed trailer. They would be used primarily for securing a motorcycle and other misc. items. Which would you recommend, the Vertical or Horizontal track?

For the floor of your enclosed trailer the most popular setup would be the horizontal E-tracks like part # E19148 which is a 5-foot section.

Typically the vertical sections like part # E19146 are used on the walls of a trailer and not the floor.

Since you have wooden floors in your trailer the hardware I would recommend for installing e-track like the part #EM19147 would be the Erickson Hardware kit part #SL49FR which is basically wood screws.

I went out to the warehouse and did some measuring to assist. The mounts will be 39-3/4 inches from outside to outside, so the 52 inch fairing #TH22WV will work for your application. I've attached a photo and video to further assist.

E track like the part #E19148 (5 foot section) would work well for what you are looking to do. People use E track for car haulers all the time and it works well. We even have a wheel strap designed for E tracks, part #EM58523 which will work great.
