Durable tie-down straps pair quick-release action with a retractable design for easy loading and unloading. Any unused strap automatically retracts into the housing, and you can quickly release each strap by pushing a button. 1,200 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Tie-downs let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer
  • Retractable straps automatically wind up into the built-in housings with the push of a button
    • Keeps excess strap from tangling or flapping in the wind
  • Ratchet mechanisms make it easy to tighten down straps and maintain tension on straps
    • Handles are easy to grip
  • Push buttons on ratchets quickly and easily release straps when you're ready to unload
  • Zinc-coated steel bodies are corrosion resistant
  • S-hooks have hardened steel cores to ensure that they won't bend or flex
  • Vinyl coating on S-hooks helps prevent scratches on your cargo

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 1" wide x 10' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 400 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 1,200 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 ratchet straps
  • 90-Day limited warranty

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

The Hand Truck Company, is introducing a new product, the Attachit Strap, a ratchet mount for our multi-directional Hand Truck 360. We needed a ratchet that could safely and easily secure heavy or oversized objects and we found It in Erickson's Retractable Ratchet EM34415. The 1" X 10" length works well to secure appliances, furniture, etc. and also has the ability to secure loads horizontally as well as vertically. The Attachit Strap can be customized to fit any sized hand truck. We received very professional service and quick delivery from etrailer.com.

I own a set of four of these retractable straps but, I recently lost one. Since I could not buy a single strap I ordered this pair. They are superior to the standard ratchet straps that I own.

I use these retractable straps now so I don't have to deal with loose strap ends. The quick release button is easier to release and the coated hook ends protect your attachment points.

Excellent straps, use them on our quads and to tie down about everything in bed of truck. They hold up really good and retract is very good.

Extremely convenient and useful! These straps are very easy to use, easy to store and secure your load very well. They are much better than a bag of tangled tie-down straps!

I am Dr. Richard Pendleton, retired Professor of Mechanical Engineering. My primary field was mechanical design. I recently purchased some of the Erickson re-tractable ratcheting trailer tie-downs. I am very favorably impressed. Commonly products descriptions inflate the value of the product. The web advertisement of these tie-downs did not do that. If anything the ad was an understatement. The video was very helpful and accurate. I am more than pleased with this product. Feel free to use my name and statements as you wish.

Really Heavy Duty. A whole lot easier and more secure than rope or bungie cords.

Comments
Interesting that you follow up a year later. Although I dont use these often, when I need them, such as when I rented a power washer and needed to secure it in the truck, they do the job perfectly and are very easy to use. So far, I havent had to spray any silicon lubricant any where yet.

Ordered these straps as a gift and was told after ordering that they were not available. Finally they were shipped and then lost in shipment. After missing the opportunity to give them as a gift the box finally shows up. The straps were not properly packed and only loosely placed in the box. Consequently three of the four strap containers were severly damaged. E-trailer service rep. does not feel e-trailer has any responsibility in which I totally disagree with.

Strap,s were perfect for my application. Price very reasonable and they worked great. Very easy to use, simply push red button to retract. Easy to pull strap out and hook, then ratchet load secure. Also, I liked the option of removing the short strap/hook and bolting the body directly to the frame, as it has a hole predrilled in the back of the body. 10' length is great as well, as the 6' and 4' fixed mount style were too short for my application. I am very happy with this product.

I have bought and used all types of tie down straps these are simple and functional and most of all when your done with them the rewind option eliminates dealing with with the straps. In addition it allows you to store multiple sets togeather with out them tangling up and saves time for your next use. Been waiting for these for years I hope they produce a larger version for heavy loads

- EM34415
by:

Previously had a set of these, but had one of them lost/loaned out. Tried various other straps, but they seemed to get stuck and fail to work at various times. These straps are rock solid and work 100% of the time!

- EM34415

These ratchet straps are the neatest thing since sliced bread! I have not used ratchet straps for years because they are such a pain but these have opened my eyes to a whole new world of securing cargo. Completely self-contained, eliminating strap "tails" flapping in the wind. Spring loaded to take up slack, just push a lever. What could be be simpler? These should be the last ones I ever buy. Thank you!

- EM34415
by:

LOVE THEM!!!! It is so nice being able to carry these in my truck cab without having the straps all tangled up. Just grab and go. I've had them for a year and no problems. Thanks

- EM34415

They still work like they are brand new and are easy to use. We bought them to hold our travel trailer awning down while camping. They have been in some very high winds and work great.

- EM34415
by:

Love these ratchet straps with the self-winding mechanism. There is less tangling and they are easier to place over loads and then tighten.

- EM34415

Really like these ratchet straps without the annoying tail of strapping material to contend with. Keeps everything clean and neat when in use.

received ratchet straps today. Arrived when expected. Seem to be of good quality and I expect them to be an excellent improvement over the older ones I use. Can't wait to use them. They should be much better to stow away in my pickup boxes.

Very fast way of strapping bike down, from cruiser to chopper. One person job, and quick release without no loose end of strap getting in way.

I love these straps..I have used these on a trailer to secure a RZR. They have not given me an instant of trouble or failed to do what they were designed to do. Initially I used them with no permanent attachment but recently decided to bolt them to the frame of the trailer. I've had several people ask me where I got them and how much they cost. Bottom line is I think these were a great investment and I would buy them again.

- EM34415

Pleased with everything including the product, ordering, shipping and communication. Will definitely buy from etrailer in the future.

It is a great thing to not have to have 2 pieces to put together in order to tie a load down. These are easy to use and are being used to tie a load down at the end of a long day prior to leaving the job site where the light is low. The only thing that one has to be careful of when using these is to not put them across a sharp edge.
