These soft foam pads with included tie-down straps let you safely transport your watercraft on your roof rack crossbars. Pads simply wrap around crossbars and secure with Velcro closures.

These pads wrap around most crossbars to provide a resting place for your surfboard, kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) during transport. And tie-downs let you secure your gear to your roof rack.
Wrap the pads around your crossbars and secure them with the Velcro closure strips.
Adjust the closures so that the pads are snug and won't slide on your crossbars. Load your gear on top of the pads.
To secure your gear to your roof rack, thread the tie-down straps beneath the pads and secure them on top of your boards with the cam buckles. Integrated sleeves cover the buckles and protect your board and vehicle from getting scratched, and Velcro strap keepers hold the ends of the straps so they won't flap in the wind.

I've used this SUP rack several times. It's a good quality product that works. The pads fit great on my highlander roof rack and the straps are very good quality. Holds the board tight and secure. I made a 1200 mile trip carrying my board on the roof with this rack. No problems at all.
Great roof rack system for SUPs and surf boards. My only complaint is the velcro strips on the tie-down straps have largely fallen off. They're not essential to the operation because what holds the straps tight are metal clips, but the velcro is there to secure the excess strap material and to neatly store the tie-down straps when they're not in use. I suppose I could just sew some new ones on..... anyway, that's the only reason for deducting a star. Otherwise it's a terrific product!
This rack system works amazingly well on my Thule arrow rack. I've owned this for a year now and have transported my 11' surfboard with no issues. The board is easy to secure and is just as tight when I arrive after a long trip on the highway. Thanks for a great product at a great price!
Carry my SUP on my Honda Civic with this on a Thule carrier bars. Has held up well after a year in the sun in Southern California.

I love this rack! I don't think I'll ever take it off my car. Cool and functional. I've used it for my snowboard in the winter and my surfboard and camping gear in the summer.

Good solid product...20 minutes to install. Aussies should send instruction in Inches not Millimeters though... and finding the PDF with the fitment settings on their site is a bit of pain....
But bottom-line....wifey very happy she can take her SUP to the pond now. Me, happy she doesnt have to take my truck to do it.

I recently purchased the PERFECT ski rack for my car from etrailer after unsuccessfully searching locally and online from traditional retailers.
