Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the CE Smith Galvanized Steel Panel Bracket for 10-inch Boat Trailer Rollers. Now this bracket is typically installed upright on the crossmembers of your boat trailer. The panel bracket will hold a keel or spool roller, that'll help keep your boat moving while it's being loaded and help stabilize the keel. This panel bracket here is designed to support a 10-inch long keel or spool roller on the boat trailer. And just to show you what we're talking about, there's an example of a 10-inch roller that would fit onto this bracket here.
This does bolt to your trailer's frame. Now the mounting hardware to install this is not included. This is a sturdy 11-gauge galvanized steel construction to resist corrosion. Now these galvanized steel parts, they are hot dipped in zinc after being stamped and this creates a coating that's typically three mils to five mils thick, and this thick all around coating allows the galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding. Also, if you notice where they bend these ends up, there's three gussets over here and three over here, so those six gussets total provide extra strength by stiffening these bends.
The slotted mounting holes right here, they allow you to adjust the position of the spool during your installation. And this part is made in the USA. This is for a quantity of one panel bracket. Again, the application is a 10-inch roller and this will accept the 10-inch roller that's 10 inches long, has a 5/8 inch diameter roller shaft. Now the mounting slots we mentioned on these, right in these slots right here, they are a width of a half an inch.
Overall height is five inches tall and then the spacing from the center to center of each of those mounting slots, if we put a ruler on it, is right at eight inches. But that should do it for the review on the CE Smith Galvanized Steel Panel Bracket for 10-inch Boat Trailer Rollers.
