    Steadyrack

The Steadyrack allows you to store 1 mountain bike or road bike vertically on the wall of your garage, home, or office. A folding bracket with a V-shaped brim holds your bike securely by the front wheel, and it requires no lifting to load. A secondary bracket holds your bike's rear wheel in place. And the rack swings to the side with your bike loaded for compact storage.

    Space-Saving, Swiveling Design

    Steadyrack space saving

The front-wheel bracket is hinged so it can swing nearly 180 degrees from side to side. This lets you reposition your bike for compact storage, and it allows you to store multiple bikes close together against the wall. And the tensioned hinge requires pressure to move so your bike won't swing freely on the rack.

    Steadyrack space saving

The Steadyrack's space-saving design allows it to fold flat and out of the way when you aren't using it. Simply push the brackets toward the wall until the upper bracket snaps into the retaining clips on the lower bracket.

    Simple, No-Lift Loading

    Steadyrack swivel

The Steadyrack's front-wheel bracket consists of 2 interlocking pieces of corrosion-resistant, 3/8" thick zinc-coated steel. To load your bike, simply fold the brackets down, hike the bike up on its rear wheel, and roll it forward so the front wheel rests in between the brackets. The steel brackets support your bike's front wheel from the bottom and on both sides to prevent movement. If you've positioned the rack to hold your bike up off the ground, the rack will do the work of lifting your rear wheel when you roll the front wheel onto the brackets.

    Steadyrack Rear Wheel Bracket

The Steadyrack's rear-wheel bracket helps keep your bike straight on the rack while still allowing it to swivel as needed for storage. The rear-wheel bracket is a separate piece, so it can be installed at any distance from the front-wheel bracket to accommodate your bike's wheelbase.

    Easy Installation

    Mounting Hardware

The Steadyrack installs easily with included mounting hardware. Simply choose the spot on your wall that you want the bike to hang and mount the front-wheel holder. Load your bike onto the front-wheel holder, mark the spot where the rear wheel contacts the wall, and install the rear-wheel bracket.

Video Transcript for Steadyrack Bike Storage Racks Manufacturer Demo

Steadyrack Bike Rack is a revolutionary cycling storage solution, because it's easy to use, saves heaps of space, and looks great. Parking your bike in a Steadyrack is so easy. First, open the Steadyrack Bike Rack by folding the bottom arm down, until it rests on the stops. Take hold of your handlebar grips as though you we're riding your bike. Use an overhand grip, not underhand. Now, using the handlebars for control, stand your bike up, and balance it on the back wheel.

You can raise the front wheel to vertical position easily, by locking the rear brake, and walking backwards, while holding onto the handlebar grips. The bike will lift up with virtually no effort. Now, balancing your bike on the rear wheel, roll it forwards until the front wheel rests against the bottom arm. Once your front wheel is touching the entry point on the bottom arm, you simply push the bike forwards, and it will rise up, and drop into the rack with very little effort. The tire will sit snugly between the two V-shaped cradling points. If you want to mount your racks higher, or they are staggered, you can use your knee to help you do the lifting.

Simply place your knee under the saddle, and lift up with your leg at the same time as you push. You can now swivel your bike to your preferred position, almost 180 degrees from one side to the other. Your rack comes with a rear tire rest. When folding to one side or the other, place the rear wheel on the corresponding side of rear tire rest. This will keep your bikes all nice and straight, and prevent them from swinging around, and banging into each other. To remove your bike, simply hold the handlebars, and pull your bike back.

It will roll out of the rack, and onto the ground with ease. Don't try to lift your bike on and off, there is no need. Just push forward, and pull back to let the wheel do all the work. If your bike has fenders, you need Steadyrack's Fender Rack, which is designed to function exactly the same as the classic rack. Wider tires are no problem either, with the Fat Rack.

All three racks use the same method to load and unload bikes. Now you have claimed back your valuable floor space. And you can safely, and easily store your bike up, and out of the way. Best of all, you'll never have to juggle your bike onto a hook again.

Bought the MTB version to test. Mounted easily, holds the bike perfectly and love that the bike can move to either side. I will be ordering 2 more for road bikes and 2 more for MTB.

Great way to store bikes with easy access! Be sure to get adequate hardware if not mounting to a wall stud.

I like the concept, but it doesn't work so well with bike fenders.

Excellent product. We have many bikes. Both fat and skinny tires and these racks solve all our storage problems. The look great on the wall too. Very easy to put bike on and off. Very happy.

For years, I have been wanting to get my bicycle up off the floor, and out of the way. Started looking at what was available, and found this. Was glad that ETrailer carried it, because I've always had really good, quick service from them. I was a little reluctant to spend $90-100 for this luxury. I read the reviews, and they were all very positive. I received it in two days... quick delivery, and made the free shipping cutoff. It is very impressively made, and the price is definitely justified. It keeps the bicycle steady at 90 degrees from the wall, since it stays in that position, until there is reasonable pressure applied; then if you want to get it more out of the way, which I did, it will swing against the wall, and stay there quite nicely. It's exactly what I had envisioned in my head, and thought I'd have to build something, myself, to get what I wanted. I highly recommend this from ETrailer.

Absolutely love these! Simple installation. Love how they swivel which helps in our single garage. End caps are hard to take off/install but used a rubber hammer to persuade them into place. These worked great for my Aventon Pace 500 with fenders and my wife's Trek Hybrid. Huge improvement and easy to load for old folks like us!

When installing a number of the Steadyrack Bike Storage Racks # B-SCSR02-004 the correct spacing between the racks will depend to a great extent on the bikes themselves. If you refer to the photo (and video) that I linked you will see that the smaller bike's handlebar can fit through the frame opening of the larger bike. This is accomplished by staggering the heights of the racks. For the most compact arrangement of racks on your wall you'll want to figure out your best arrangement of...

The Steadyrack Bike Storage Wall Rack # B-SCSR02-004 can handle mountain bikes and road bikes up to a 77-lb weight. This includes the vast majority of adult and kids' road and mountain bikes. About the only bikes that won't work are the heavier e-bikes and some recumbent bikes. The rack's weight capacity does depend in part on the mounting surface where you install it. If installing this on the wall of your garage you will want to use a stud finder to locate a 2 x 4 wall stud. Sheet rock...
