Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna talk about the RaxGo free standing bike rack. So let's take a closer look at it. I think this is gonna be perfect for anyone who's constantly on the go. You just need a quick spot to store your bike. Think this will be good for that.
It's also gonna be good if you ever need to make any adjustments to your bike, you can just come over here, loosen this up some, and just orient it in a different way so it's a little bit easier to access for you. There's a couple things that really stand out to me about this, and the first one's gonna be how adjustable it is. So let me get this bike out of the way so we can take a closer look at that. So with these hooks that sit here, if you have different frame styles, a lot of times you can just pivot this to get it to work for your bike. Now with those more extreme situations, what you can do is get a bike adapter bar and just put it in here so things sit more level.
And if you don't own one of those, you can find these on our website. And all you have to do to adjust this is grab your round key, loosen up this top bolt, and just like that, it's gonna pivot a decent amount either way. The second adjustment that we have are gonna be these hooks. So if I just spin this around, I'll just loosen up that knob and it travels up and down this tray. And you can have a secondary spot where you can put this, take that off real quick.
You'll see we have this little hole here. If you just wanted to stay in the one location and not move, then it'll just stay put so you don't have to worry about sliding down if you do loosen up at all. The second thing that stands out to me is how mobile it is. 'Cause I think it is designed just for short term storage. You can use it for long term storage, but I think it lends itself better that since it is so lightweight and it can become compact, what we have to do before that is come down here, pull in this lever, and also drop this into place and collapse.
You can also collapse these legs at the bottom, same process, lifting that lever and push it up on it just like that. You could go an extra step and just remove this. All it is is two Allen keys and sometimes you can just loosen up by your hand and just store this somewhere else. And the last thing that stands out to me is that this is gonna be a really affordable rack compared to other ones out there. Now with that, it is gonna have a lighter weight capacity. This is gonna be rated for 44 pounds, so it's gonna be more so cater to your standard bikes. If you have anything like an e-bike, I'd recommend something else. I'm recommend the Feedback Sports bike rack, that one's gonna be the 2.0 version. And with that, it's gonna be a cradle that's mounted to the ground, so it doesn't really have a weight capacity you have to worry about. But if you're not getting those heavy e-bikes, then I think this would be just fine. And of course if you have any other questions, please let us know here at etrailer. And again, I'm Matt and thanks for watching.
