Hi, What truck bed rack would you recommend for a 2016 tacoma. Id like to be able to mount either road bikes or mountain bikes. Thanks

We have several excellent truck bed bike racks that will fit your 2016 Toyota Tacoma and that will work with road or mountain bikes.

If your truck has the cargo management rails and you are looking for a fork-mount option I recommend the RockyMounts DriveShaft SD # RKY1084. It comes with hardware to mount in the cargo management rails directly, it locks, and will work with thru-axle bikes and standard forks. I have linked a video review of this carrier for you.

For a carrier that does not require removing the front wheel I recommend the Inno Velo Gripper, # INRT202. It also mounts directly to the cargo management rails and holds the bike by the frame.

If your truck does not have the cargo management rails then for a fork mount the Swagman Patrol # S64701 is a great option. I have linked a video review of this carrier for you.

Or, if you don't want to take off the wheels you can use the Velo Gripper for models without cargo management rails, # INRT201. Like the other version it holds the bike at the frame. I have linked a video review of this carrier as well.
