Had bought three of these a year ago and placed it on a cut 2" x 4" for three bikes. All three bikes (2 MTB and 1 Road) now easily fit the 5'7" bed of my Ram 1500. No worries with the quick release and no more stress taking the whole family to the trails. So glad I got these.
Love this product! I built a great bike carrying system for my F-150 using two of these fork clamps. They are easy to install and extremely well made. No more tangled bikes and lots more room in the bed for other stuff!
Best way to go for a nice bike rack system.

How does this attach to the bed liner? Is it just wedged into it at the recessed spots or is it attached in some way?Thanks
The Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On, is just what I was looking for to be able to build a bike rack for carrying one of my bikes on my motorcycle. It was easy to mount and it holds my bike in place while riding on bumpy dirt roads, city streets, highways and even when I hit some twisty country roads. It's really easy to load and unload my bike when I get to where I want to ride. I use a velcro strap around the quick-release and the fork arm as an added safety as well as a couple tie-downs from my bike handlebars to my motorcycle passenger pegs to help distribute the weight on my rack. If you want to build your own DIY bike rack I totally recommend the Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On.
Ordered the Hollywood bike rack brackets 1 year ago they arrived pretty fast. I mounted them on a 2x6 spray painted black. Installed an eye bolt at each end. Attached a clasp to each eye bolt & then to hooks in bed. I had a problem recently with the bracket screws pulling out. So I put bolts through the brackets & 2x6 with flush mounted nuts $ washers. Seems to be working fine.
Could not be easier to make your own bike rack with these skewers. A little measuring, some scrap wood, and you have a great carrier for a bargain! The only thing keeping it from being a 5 star... the skewers lock tab could be oval like the axle locks. Then they would stay locked without so much tension being put to them.
Used these to mount bikes on our RV platform. Work awesome when paired with the bike carrier brackets also on etrailer. See pics, I used extra mounting strap for underneath for added stability.
Worked great. The fork mount was top quality and just what I wanted. Typical for etrailer, it arrived quickly and was just as described but much less expensive than the bike shop version that I originally used (as shown in the photo). This clamp is perfect for making any kind of quick bike rack in the bed of your pickup or on the tongue of a trailer as shown. I would recommend this to a friend.
I looked at so many products, but then saw these pull up on a truck beside me one day. I started with two and mounted them to the rails in my Tacoma truck bed. After continuous use hauling our bikes to and from triathlons, I bought a third! I can now fit three road bikes across the bed of my truck and still have rooms for gear below them. Thanks of the great product guys.
I bought 2 of these and a [...] locking mount. Wish I had skipped these and got all 3 [...]. Quick release lever has very little travel and you will have to adjust the nut every time you use it. I guess thats acceptable but the higher quality one has me spoiled. It is a solid mount that does indeed work as advertised.
Great little fork mount. very versatile way to mount your bikes in numerous configurations. etrailer was awesome. fast service and shipping. highly recommend!

Exactly as represented. Shipped quickly. Really Great product. I fastened 2 Hollywood fork mount bike racks to a 1"x6" board. Perfect way to transport two bikes in the truck bed. Quick and easy to use. Easy to remove and store when not in use.

Jeff,I had some 14 x 1 aluminum bar from lowes, I drilled 6 holes and tapped them with a 5/16 tap, I then I cut the bar into 3/4 pieces with the holes centered. The pieces will now fit into the rail on the top the bed. then i just lined the pieces with the holes in the bike mounts. I used 1 long screws
This Bike Carrier is great. I mounted them on an oak plank, secured from both ends to the bed tie downs, eliminating the need to drill holes to the bed.

Let me start by saying that the bike mount I received was exactly as described and worked flawlessly. I originally wanted to mount the fork mounts to the rails of my truck bed. I have a 2015 Ford F150 and I am unable to access behind the rails to get nuts and washers on a bolt. I ended up mounting the fork mounts to a 2x8 which then layed in front of the wheel wells of my truck. With that said, I would have given etrailer.com a 5 star review had it not been for the length of time it took to receive my product. I paid extra for USPS Priority Mail shipping which should have taken no longer than 3 days to get to my house. We live in Sherwood Oregon. For what ever reason it took a week to get to our house. So the night before we were to leave for an 8 day camping trip I was messing around with running up to Home Depot to buy a piece of 2x8, along with screws to mount the fork mounts. In the whole scope of things not a huge deal, but I asked for, and paid the expedited shipping to make sure I received the mounts in a timely manner. By timely manner I expected to receive them in 2 to 3 days. Not 7 or 8 days.
Ordered the Big Bed Junior Load Extender to haul my 12-foot kayak easily in the bed of my small pickup instead of having to deal with roof rack saddles on car (plus just the effort of lifting and loading). Installation was very simple and straightforward, and as the picture shows, it definitely gets the job done. Four stars vs. five b/c I am surprised at how much slop there is in both how the parallel-to-ground L-shaped bar fits in the hitch and how the crossbar fits on top. May do some duct-tape wrapping to reduce the amount of play in these fittings. That said, have driven locally on a bumpy gravel road and over RR crossing with no issues; have not yet tested hauling boat at highway speed. Five starts plus for etrailer customer service and shipping on my order, btw!
Purchased these after researching them and several others. These are pretty simple items, so I felt pretty safe ordering the “Hollywood” version rather than others that were much higher in price. These are a great-looking product, very sturdy, exactly as advertised, and perfectly suitable for DIY truck-bed racks. They even have a threaded center mounting hole if you care to mount them that way. Very happy with my purchase.. I would order them again if needed.
I am very pleased with my Fork Mount brackets that I received. I ordered two for me and two for my son and his vehicle. These are heavy-duty, metal brackets and they were simple to mount. And they came quickly as well!
These bars are simple and effective. They will easily bolt onto the top of my hard top tonneau cover.
The items were received in good time and in good order. They appear to be a solid product that should provide years of service. I have mounted these to the front of a small trailer to more securely carry bicycles and they are performing as I hoped.
I purchased the Hollywood Rack Truck Bed Bike Carrier and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. This product is well made and works great. I would definitely purchase this product again in the future. Ordering was easy and delivery onlt took a few days.

Used weekly, bolted to 2X6 set at Tailgait end of truck bed, two bikes side by side under topper.
These racks were just as advertised. I mounted them on a 2x4 and then clamped that into the front of my bed. They worked great. The thing about these racks is that they are so versatile. They could be used in any number of ways. You just have to give it some thought. And whatever you come up with, you haven't spent a fortune either.
