Too much rotational movement forward and backward in the existing Thule fork mount. Not sure it’s going to work.

@KatrinaD I have clamped the adaptor into my existing Thule fork mount, but I’m not sure it’s going to work. My new bike arrives within the week, so I can’t test it until then. My review had to do mostly with there being no mention of this issue that might create an unstable mount for a $$ bike. I’ve tried attaching a video…thank you for your response. I do like doing business with etrailer.

@JohnF I did not receive the video attachment; can you please resend it? Please let me know when you get the chance to try it out with the bike. Also, I have gotten in contact with the manufacturer and they have confirmed that this adapter is designed to work in conjunction with one of Rhino Racks through axle carriers, like part # RBC036 or part # RBC035.

Very nicely designed solution to mounting disc forks using existing fork mounts that are quick release. Looks like it will last for years- very sturdy and nice welds. Nice that it can be adapted to different thru axle standards. I made a wise choice here- Thanks

Will The Rhino Rack Thru Axle Bike Carrier Work As A Fork Mount Bike Carrier?
The Thru Axle Bike Carrier for Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platforms # RR43233 you have is a fork mount bike carrier so I am not quite sure what you're asking. This bike rack contains a 15-mm x 100-mm thru axle adapter sleeve, however if you needed a different size you could use the Rhino-Rack Multi Axle Adapter for Fork Mount Bike Racks # RRRBCA030 which includes adapters for 12-mm, 15-mm, or 20-mm thru axles.

I had to do some digging, but I believe you're looking for the Rhino-Rack Multi Axle Adapter for Fork Mount Bike Racks # RRRBCA030. This will replace the 9MM quick release skewer that's on the Rhino-Rack Road Warrior Rooftop Bike Carrier - Fork Mount # RBC036, and can be easily swapped to work with 12-mm, 15-mm, and 20-mm thru axles.

Fork Mount Adapter Needed for 9 mm x 135 mm Bike Skewer
The solution for your bike will be to use the Rhino-Rack Thru Axle Sleeve for 9-mm x 135-mm Thru Axle Skewers # RRRBCA039 with either the Multi Axle Adapter # RRRBCA030 or with the Thru Axle Bike Carrier # RR43233. I personally like the bike carrier a little better. This is designed to be installed on the Pioneer Platforms but you can use different hardware to bolt this down if that's what you're needing.

The only adapter I can find that fits your 2022 Specialized Crux with the 12x110mm axle is the Thru-Axle Adapters # TH58BV for Thule FastRide Roof Bike Rack # TH95JV. This will not fit with the Rhino-Rack Multi Axle Adapter # RRRBCA030 that you already have. The FastRide will fit round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars.

What Type of Roof Bike Rack Would be Best for Carrying Bike with Lauf Forks
We aren't going to have a fork mounted bike rack solution that's going to work well with the Lauf fork design. Something like the Yakima HighRoad part # Y02114 would be a better option that wouldn't interfere with the Lauf design. I have a few options for you, but the Thule Velo Vise 589 you have can only be installed onto factory aero crossbars by using the Thule Ride On Adapter 532 which has been discontinued for quite a few years now.
