Rub marks, squeaks, or crooked loading? A swivel bolster lets you pivot your bunk so it sits flush to your hull. You set the height, it spreads the boat's contact, and you'll load your boat smoother while protecting it's finish.

Highlights

  • Get Your Boat Hull to Sit Right: The 2-3/4" vertical slot lets you nudge the bunk height until the boat centers on your trailer.
  • Protect Your Finish: A 12" base spreads the load, so boards don't dig in, squeak, or sag.
  • Non-Slip Stability: Dimples help lock the bunk in place, boost load capacity and keep your boat steady when loading.
  • Made for the Ramp: Hot-dip galvanized steel holds up to spray, rain, and road grit.
  • Ready to Install: Includes mounting hardware for a straightforward setup.

Features to know about

Centered, Scuff-Free Loading

Swivel bolster brackets let you adjust your bunk boards to where they should be, so the hull sits right and loading feels smooth. The 2-3/4" vertical slot gives you the wiggle room to dial in bunk height for your boat, and the non-slip dimples bite into the board to prevent movement and boost load capacity. The longer 12" footprint holds the bunk steady, so it doesn't wander after a few launches or a long haul. Hot-dip galvanizing means it can live on a wet trailer without turning into a rusty mess, and the hardware will still back off when you need to service your trailer bunks.

Video Transcript for Review of Tie Down Boat Trailer Parts - Swivel Bolster Bracket - TD94FR

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look together at our tie down swivel bolster bracket for bunk boards. This one is gonna be 12 inches long or tall, and this is gonna be a great option for attaching those bunk boards, as you already know, and then you can select the pitch, the angle on those, and then obviously this would be tightened up at the angle that you need it at whenever you've got your bunk boards installed on the top. Now, what's nice about this, other than the fact that it's been hot dipped, it's galvanized steel, so it's not gonna corrode obviously. You got a lot of dimples that they've kind of punched out when they built this, and those are gonna help hold onto the frame whenever you have it bolted in place on your boat.

And then obviously, you've got those 2 3/4" long slots to help let you rise and lower it precisely where you need it for your setup. Now again, this is a 12 inch long option. We sell these in 10 and eight inches as well. If you don't need something quite this big, you can check them out separately. Again, this is a great option for you.

You're gonna get quantity one. This is the tie down swivel bolster bracket, 12 inches. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

  • Will Roller Bunks Flex to Fit Rockered Hull Style Boats
Hey Bart, roller bunks like the Tie Down Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers # TD27FR that you referenced are not designed to flex front to back or conform to a more rounded hull shape like the rockered shape you mentioned. The boat would basically just roll along the flat rollers. You can use pivoting bunk brackets like the part # TD94FR so that the bunks match the angle of the from side to side but there isn't a way for like the middle of the bunk to flex down.

  • Recommended Galvanized Steel Brackets for Boat Bunk Boards
Hey Ben, welcome back! You can send any pictures directly the email address you receive this response from. To attach bunks to your friend's boat trailer's frame, you'll need to use swivel bolster brackets. These are adjustable so you can dial in the angle you need to support the boat. Which ones you need are going to be determined by how high you want the bunks to sit. You'll need two brackets for each bunk. I have listed some of our options below: 8" Long - Qty 1 item # TD54FR 10"...
