Hey Ben, welcome back! You can send any pictures directly the email address you receive this response from.
To attach bunks to your friend's boat trailer's frame, you'll need to use swivel bolster brackets. These are adjustable so you can dial in the angle you need to support the boat. Which ones you need are going to be determined by how high you want the bunks to sit. You'll need two brackets for each bunk. I have listed some of our options below:
8" Long - Qty 1 item # TD54FR
10" Long - Qty 1 item # TD34FR
12" Long - Qty 1 item # TD94FR
These can be attached to the trailer's frame or crossmembers using U-Bolts like item # CE15283GA-4. All of these parts are made of galvanized steel that can stand up to corrosion in both fresh and saltwater.
How long are your bunks going to be and what kind of Dory boat does your friend have?
