The matte black powder coat finish protects the steel shank and channel from corrosion, while the included pins feature a nickel undercoat with a zinc topcoat for extra resistance against rust. Instead of keeping multiple hitches around, this one covers both common coupler sizes in one setup. The welded 2" and 2-5/16" balls flip easily—remove the pins, rotate the ball platform, and reinsert them to switch sizes. Seems sturdy, but the ball finish didn't last long. One pull form a light trailer. Still a heavy enough hirtch to handle anything I will ever pull.

It works and is built well. Got an unexpected surprise with the rubber on the back of the ball, it keeps it from rattling. Finish doesn’t hold up at all but then I don’t see this thing rusting away anytime soon.

Needed a high quality hitch to haul my new demco Kar Kaddy 2, also an etrailer purchase, that I could adjust to get just the right height with my Rv or suv. This hitch fits the bill. I installed it with the adjustment portion up to accomplish my lack of heights. I also included a photo of the demco Kar Kaddy SS and the rhino racks I got from you. I’m all set to travel now.
