Today, we're going to take a look at the replacement rubber socket for the DH38R and DH39R door or window holders. Now the DH38R and DH39R holders, they are these rubber sockets and they include the different size plastic stems and are used to hold open trailer doors or windows. The DH38R would be this socket with the smaller one inch long stem and the DH39R is the socket with the longer two inch long stem. Now, basically, this part is just the socket portion. What you would do with this is you could mount this to the door or to the trailer and then the stem to the other part and then when you open your door or window, the stem would go right into this rubber socket and hold it up in the open position.A few dimensions on this rubber socket. The height on it, it's going to be right at one and three eighths inches tall.
Outer diameter edge to edge is one and five eighths inches and the inner diameter, which is the portion that the stem will lock into, that's going to be 13/16 of an inch. But that should do it for the review on the replacement rubber socket for the DH38R and the DH39R door or window holders.
These were used on our motorhome to mount the tail lights. When they failed the RV industry was no help. Thanks to etrailer we are back on the road and the lights no longer fall out. Great support for impossible parts to find.

Alas, but after six months of light use the rubber has completely torn off these units, rendering them useless. Given that the originals lasted 14 years I can only assume substandard material to be the cause.
They hold up well for being outside in this weather in the great Northwest and they do grea, easy to install use and replace.
Product arrived as described and in good condition. Product was out of stock but shipped in time for my needs. Customer service kept me well informed through out the process.
The stoppers don’t work well with the small posts. Just don’t hold the door open. Works best with the longer ones.
