Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Pop & Lock power truck bed lock upgrade kit. So folks, this upgrade kit will let you add power to your Pop & Lock custom tailgate lock. It does provide power for a couple item numbers, PAL6100 and PL6200 locks. Those are sold separately, and you can get them here at etrailer.com. It does install easily with the included hardware and wiring.
You're gonna have the main unit here, and that'll be actuated with the power. That's gonna match up color to color, blue to blue, green to green, and you got that custom plug that'll marry into this plug. Then you got two wires over here, blue and green still, and you'll use the little connectors here, and you get lots of zip ties to fasten all the wires and have them hidden and out of the way once the install is complete. So there's a little closer look at that unit. Again, folks, these are custom fit.

Now there's no drilling or welding necessary to install this. There is a switch kit sold separately that would accommodate trucks without existing power locks. So if you have existing power locks, you would not need that.
