Can You Get Replacement Keys For Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock on 2009 Honda Ridgeline?

Question:
Bought used 09 Honda Ridgeline. Has older PopandLock installed. Tailgate is locked and no key from previous owner. Looks to be key op - not electrical - possible model 6100, 6101 or 6102. If keys available, I would purchase 3. What to do? Please advise! ~Steve

First you will need to look at the key cylinder to see if the key number is stamped into your lock cylinder for the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL6100. If so you can contact Pop & Lock directly to get keys. Otherwise they do offer a replacement cylinder which will require you to have a locksmith open the lock so you can remove the cylinder. You might consider adding the Pop & Lock Power Upgrade Kit # PL8630 if you wish to have a power lock option.
