Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Bauer Products T-Handle Lock. This is going to replace a worn-out or damaged handle on your truck's cap or camper shell. This does have a counterclockwise rotation, so it will be great for your driver's side if you have a dual-lock cap. This does have a nice, sturdy, glass-reinforced, nylon-zinc construction, so it should hold up well for you and be very secure.
As far as getting this mounted, it does have the blind-mount design, so all your hardware will install from the inside so it won't be accessible. This does not include hardware with it, so you can just reuse the hardware that you have installed now, and it will remain hidden inside the locked cap. This does have a nice matte-black color to it, so it should blend in well with your camper shell or truck cap if you've got black in your color scheme at all. They do include two of these J-327 keys. Just twist that to unlock it, and rotate it back to make sure it's going to be nice and secure.As far as our dimensions go, this is right about three and a half inches wide by about three and three quarters of an inch long.
Our shaft length there is right at two inches. And the distance between our mounting holes here, right at one and a half inches from center to center. So if you are needing to replace your T-handle lock, this is going to be a great option for you, and just want to make sure that you pay attention to those measurements, make sure it's going to fit for your application.So that's going to complete our look for today. After one full winter I expected these to be seized, yet when I locked then this spring they function at if brand new. Good locked!
I order this T handle with keys because I needed the
key number K 127 to match the at hand locks on my LEER camper shell. The key kitt and works. I’m grateful the eTrailer phone agent was able to figure out I could get the key by ordering the T handle. Recently sold that camper shell and I wanted to give the buyer a key so they could use the T handle locks. The buyer is thrilled!
Everything looks great. I just received my order on 01/21 but haven't got it installed yet.
A replacement for frozen locks on my snowmobile trailer. But I'm surprised/disappointed that the new locks did not come with the covers.
the handles work great! The only thing that surprised me is that they did not come with insert for the inside of the handle assembly and the flipper bar that slides on the square shaft after the assembly has been installed.I just transferred those parts from the old handles but my cap is very secure!!

Sent review with matching part of this order. Needed to contact Customer Service when chat service gave wrong part number for matching finish between two locks.
I received the CW t handle, I then requested a CCW t handle and received ANOTHER CW t handle which I already have. I've requested an RMA to return the 2nd CW order. I've shopped with etrailer for some time now and have never ran into any issues before now. Maybe they need a refresher on customer service. There will be no photos shared because I keep getting the run around.
Bought these to replace my old tlock handles because the key was really warm down and the lock tumbler was rusty. These are a great choice and when I was confused on which to buy customer service was very helpful and helped me chose the correct handles to buy. They also helped me chose the matching locks as the smaller handles on the sides of my camper! Would recommend and would definitely buy again from here. Thanks!
I ordered a t-handle with lock, to match the non-functioning one already on our trailer. The detailed and multi-viewed photos helped me to determine which t-handle was a match. Even though I opted for the less costly shipping to Canada (which still delivered the item to me after only 1 1/2 weeks), it was nice to have a number of shipping prices to choose from. Once received, the actual t-handle was exactly as represented.
I bought a set of handles for my canopy. I was instructed by your sales person to order two. It turns out there is a left and a right side. I was sent to right side locks. I could not use them.
